Rainlendar skins help, please.

I have sucessfully installed Rainlendar (I believe), but when I try to load a new download a new skin from Wincustomize, and extract it to rainlendar/skins, I am unable to get that skin to apply. Could someone just tell me the path to use or how to extract it properly? I am able to use the 3 skins that came with the download of rainlendar, no problem.
Thank you.

Extract the skin file into its own folder in the Skins folder. Make sure the folder is the name of the skin that you are installing. Then restart Rainlendar, and it will become accessible through the skin menu.

Did that and even restarted the computer. It does not show up in the skins menu.

The folder created in the skins folder has the same attributes as the default folders, but it will not show up in the menu so I don't know how to apply it.

What skin is it?

I tried it with the Cyrix_RL that is by Neophil78 and the Cyrix_RL by danilloOc from a different web page, so I don't believe the problem is the skin. Any ideas? Thank you for helping.

Try just extracting the zip into the Skins folder. When those were packaged, the entire folder was put into the zip file, so the Cyrix folder will automaticly be created. Make sense?

No go. Th first way worked with R-calendar by adni18 so I'm not sure what the problem is.

ok this is a stretch. It worked with r-calendar which does not have an _RL after the skin name, but does not work with any skins that do have an _RL after the skin name. Could there be part of the initial download that did not install properly?
do I need to install more than just the current rainlendar version?

I have tried downloading other skins from other sites, uninstalled and reinstalled rainlendar, tried to save just the zip file, extracted to a folder, and still the only skins are the default skins and r-calendar. >

Try to install the Cyrix one again. After you do this, there should be a Cyrix folder in the Skins folder. Go into it and tell me what you see.

when I extract the zip file to a folder within skins, and then left click on that folder, there is another folder that is called Cyrix_RL. If I left click on that there are 6 BMP files, one jpeg, one read me and one initialization file

Copy that Cyrix_RL folder into the main Skins folder and delete the the folder you copied it out of.

A skin cannot be within a folder inside a folder. Rainlendar\Skins\Skin_Name\Skin_Folder\*files* doesnt work. Rainlendar\Skins\Skin_Name\*files* does work.

Woooooooooooooooo Hooooooooooooooooo!!!!
You're awesome!
Thank you for the help. That did it. Any idea why it duplicates itself on the download?

Yes. What the author did was put the FOLDER into a zip file, not the contents. This means that when you extract it into a new folder in the skins folder, you get the duplicate. If you had just extracted it straight into the Skins folder, it would have worked right from the get-go, but I couldnt figure out how to explain it to you. Good job figuring it out.
