Desktop X object gradually moving down even when it's 'locked'

I have a Desktop X object (a countdown timer) that seems to shift down a tiny bit every time i restart my pc, untill it finally is below the taskbar. I have the object's movement set to 'locked' and it's activation set to 'none'...yet it still gradually moves down.

Anyone else experience this or know the cause? Thanks...

hmmm, if you change resolutions a lot or change refresh rates, desktop x mite not be able to detect i properly and thus move, or maybe it is just a bug.
also try entering a set value in the x,y, coordinates of the object, and hten monitoring ti to see if it changes after you restart...

I have the same problem rjallard! Its a different sort of object, but it still moves.

I've seen it also. I figured it was a bug, but it's not too big of a hassle to move the object up a bit when it moves out of its normal position.
