disapearing wallpaper???

hey! having a prob. when i dl skins it never applies the wallpaper that came with the skin

i usually have to locate it in the file and apply it, also when i restart my computer the wallpaper is gone, what could be wrong. everything else shows it just the wallpaper im having trouble with! thanks

WindowBlinds COnfiguration > Basic Settings > Enhance Desktop elements > Apply any wallpaper supplied.

...... that is if you're asking about WindowBlinds.... you didn't say, I took a shot.

i tried that also, but no wallpaper shows up

even though i know there is a wallpaper with the skin the only thing that shows up is just a plain background (oh btw iam using wb

) maybe its my computer i dono ill keep on working with it and maybe ill fix it until then i just keep screaming things at my computer!!

Make sure the wallpaper is in bmp form. Jpeg's won't work with WB.

thanks for all the help! i just give up, it might be the program i dono but oh well it dont take that long to right click and add a background pic

Even though there's a wallpaper included, there's a chance the author didn't set the wall to load with the skin. Either by mistake or on purpose. Is this happening with one skin in particular? (Most WB skins don't have walls included)

that happens every now and then to me. try copying the actual wallpaper document onto your desktop or another folder, and not inside a zip file, then apply the wallpaper (rightclick, set as desktop background) from there.
