Lost - What happens after you d/l?

I've installed the Windows Blinds program and I've downloaded a skin. A message popped up saying that I could use the skin by going to my Display Properties.

I checked EVERY drop-down menu in Display Properties and there is no sign of the skin I downloaded.

Any help would be great.

First, when you downloaded the skin did you save it to WindowBlinds or just save it and forgot where you saved it to? If you saved it to WindowBlinds it should be in properties under "appearance" in the drop down?

Under display properties/ appearances, set the skin to "windows classic" then the skins you download will be viewable. In order to apply a skin you still need to have windows classic set.

I saved it and opened it with WindowsBlinds. In my taskbar it said the skin was ready to be used. So I went to the Display Properties > Appearance > Color Scheme

Drop-down Menus Under Appearance:

Windows&Buttons - Windows Classic Style
Color Scheme - Windows Standard (no sign of any d/l'd skins)
Font Size - Normal

Nothing showed my downloaded skin. Am I missing something?

Actually I think it is set to classic by default. I have never had to set it to default since having WindowBlinds.

You can also try this, download the skin you want to a folder of your choice and then move it to WindowBlinds themes.

Can you find the folder the files are downloaded to? It should be the windowblinds folder. Are the windowblinds still zipped? Thats one possibility.
