The sound can be enabled in WB Config. I don't believe this skin will run correctly in 1024 x 768.

Hi yrag! I have the 'skin sound' enabled....hmmmmmmm bummer on the won't work with my resolution...cripe I have to squint as it is!!!

Hey back...make sure in Control Panel/ Sounds that you don't have it disabled. The sounds should work on the skin
....BTW: consider squinting as exercise for your eyes...

WindowBlonds are supposed to resolution independent, so Gary's comment about it not working on 1024 res made me curious. I downloaded the skin, and set my res to 1024. The Start Panel lines up perfectly here........... I don't have a clue why it's doing that for you. Have you tried reinstalling the skin?

I was of the same opinion on the WB resolution thingy, but in the Author's comments He made mention of making 'adjustments' for lesser resolutions....I don't know. That and the sound problem make me think you're right about a new install...can't hurt...

Worked on 1024 for me as well, both with small and large icons in the Start Panel.

Mrs. _footsie_, what version of WB are you using?
I know there were some alignment issues with earlier versions of WB and some skins, because it happened on one of the skins I did.

I believe the problem has to do with the font. The font mrs_footsie is showing in the screenshot is not the skin font. Check your User Overrides in WB Config, and change the font setting for "All skin-defined fonts to be replaced by:" to "Leave skin fonts alone" And I believe your problem will go away. It is also possible that the font size is causing the problem, since it looks to be a bit larger font, but it's hard to tell from the screenshot as the same size in different fonts can occupy significantly different amounts of territory. SO if my first suggestion doesn't work, try changing the font size in user overrides as well.

hmmmmmmmmm I think I have problems then lol....I've unloaded it and plan to re download......my disc just says WindowBlinds 4.x.....

You really should update. WB is up to 4.3 now, and this probably why you're having these glitches. You can update via Stardock Central https://www.stardock.com/products/sdcentral/index.asp :)
