Silly words... phrases... :o)

Silly words... phrases... :o)

ok so...

I dunno... maybe I'm a nut job... but for a loooong time, as long as I can remember... I have had this absolute yearning to come up with, and speak, write..

..silly words.. and phrases..

I seriously, on a daily basis, several times a day, call my wife, the kids, my friends... the most ridiculous words imaginable...

examples?... sure..

I call Tom ( Lightstar ).. Boddy, Boppo, Chogo, Bongo, Bonki... you get the idea...

Wife.. I frequently say.. what's going on in here.. Conch bird..   Or.. Mrs Pinkerton trunks.. or.. ya damn bugger..

Kids?  don't even get me going    X-(

I know this is ridiculous, but I just don't care... Band names?  Ive considered The pungency boys, The Chumbats, Hagga Dagga, and a host of other equally stupid things.

So, I have to wonder, does anyone else suffer from this affliction??

I dare ya... come out of your shell, I know.. some folks are equally as silly... anything you come up with has to be completely original, AND... thought of before by you.. not.. made up just for this post..

Why do you think i always type... BUNP! :P ??

End of vStyler's quote

If that's anything like a wardlewham I'll take it as a coomplimant... but if you're calling me an afflewandiflub I might get a little upset... cos I haven't been that thin in years.

A few years back I did consider putting pundnib to pastwod, but it turned out I suffer from writer's crambly [yes, writer's crambly] and holding onto a pundnib for long perdynabs of time was most dispenfardable, and oh how my hansnup ached afterwards.  However, now that one can just truggle it all up on a computer it might just be something to thidsnap about... espurgley if Po` were to do some aspywasnips as well.

Reminds me of Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky".  Well done.
End of DrJBHL's quote

"Alice in Wonderland / Through the Looking Glass" has always been my favorite book. Jabborwocky has slithy toves, so it's just too brillig for me. But I love "You are Old Father William"! LOL

But as for this thread, I refuse to play. I dare say, you're all a bunch of whippydizpickles!

That would be a giant task on its own... having to go back and link up umpteen words I made up on the fly... if'n I could remember them all.

I suppose, though... if I started with those words that come to me henceforth it could be done.

Yup, we'd have an Aspidandra dictionary to go alongside the Zibish one.

Roald Dahl's Revolting Rhymes was a favourite with my son when he was little... bet your grand kids would get a kick out of it too if you wanted to keep it in mind for a birthday/christmas present.... got just enough bizarreness about it to come from their bizarre gramps....  ;)
