Dreamscapes Problem

Have you tried different browsers?

IE, Safari, Opera.

It may be because it's a Master skin / dream. Are you downolading it through your accounts page in the Stardock Store?

I checked the link in mine this morning and it downloads fine for me.

Yes, I am.  And all other Master Dreams work fine.  In fact, I purchased it twice and received two serial numbers.  Neither works.

Greg, just a thought: If you purchased it twice (although why is unclear from the info you provided), that might be a source of confusion: Especially if done through two separate accounts.

Maybe you should solve this with Support? You might have to "merge" the two or solve the double purchase thing....

I purchased it twice to see if the link was faulty.  I have one account.  I have been back and forth with Support for months now.  That's why I thought I'd try here.

When you say explorer crashes do you mean explorer or internet explorer?

It sounds like it is trying to apply it directly on download (in IE9 use Save rather than run)

I saved it and dragged-and-dropped it into Deskscapes.  Applying it crashes Deskscapes.

I think you are confusing some here.  Your original posts makes it seem like you can't download the actual file.

I can download the file.  Deskscapes won't accept it.

Why don't you right click on the dream file and it will also put a copy of the file in your dreamscapes folder along with applying the dream.

"Stars" only.  I have every other dream and they all work perfectly.

I assume I will have to forget about this.  I just checked with Stardock Support and they closed my ticket without even notifying me.  The sad part is after ten years and hundreds of dollars later I will have to move on.

Personally I'd start up another ticket.  Nothing to be gained by giving up.

Tickets are marked closed after a certain time sometimes, it doesn't mean the issue itself is closed.

It might help if you can post your machine specs.

I did start another ticket.  They merged it with the old one and closed it.  They have my machine specs.
