bootskin hangs my win2kpro!!

Hi there!
Yesterday I installed bootskin and downloaded half a dozen skins. I shut the system down.
Today, I started the system only to stare at a still bootskin that loads after traditional boot skin has been 1sec on. The system then hangs completely! It never even shows the "loading bar".
I am now accessing this board via an Apple iBook.
Can someone pls help and tell me at least how to uninstall bootskin? I can access the files if I boot up with another win2kpro install that doesn't connect to the net anymore that I left there, never had a problem before...
Oh, btw, it was beta1 I installed... can it be the .bootskin extension problem? But I must 1st unfreeze my machine. Any help would be dearly appreciated...
Thanks!

If he happens, by some chance, to have ZAP 4.5.530 on his 'puter he needs to totally uninstall it in safe mode and re-install older version 4.0.146.029 @http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/free/information/zap/releaseHistory.html

Thanks for the help John and good luck on your continued mission with EH.
