Best Late Game Demigods

I recently talked with one of my mates who are the best late game DGs for Catarct. My personal list goes like this

 

1. Erobus

Strong in flag capping and holding , just use mass charm cap and go. Furthermore Bat Swarm II or III provides superior ability to flee and chase enemy DG. Only his "lack" of Area Damage is a significant con.

2. Oak

Because with shield ur not interruptable Oak is very nice for flag capping and holding and ur somehow just unkillable if u have a port or potion with u. Shout is very nice to interrupt enemy DGs whily they r trying to cap a flag or try to use potions and ports.

3. Beast

Just the fact of his superior damage dealing ability hes perfect to hold a lane, killing minions and killing demigods. The instant stun helps btw very good interrupting DG while they r trying to cap flags or use ports etc

4. Torch

Just like Beast Damage output above level 15 on torch with ice and fire is perfect to help ur minions passing their way to the enemy citadelle. Also his 2 interrupts can help alot holding and capturing enemy flags.

Let's be honest folks.  I can't remember the last time I got past level 15 in a game - and I only get that high when we are messing around with artifacts instead of just killing their citadel.  The games are decided by level 11-13.  (And thats with getting XP1 at warscore 2 every game).

Well, we aren't arguing whether or not it is realistic to get to level 20, just at level 20, who is strongest.  It is kinda like comic book nerds arguing over whether superman or batman would win in a fight. (Depends on if batman has the 5x crit insta-takedown yet, of course).

Well i think TB has much more potential in late game >= lvl 15 if he is skilled hybride

with the Rain of Ice he can easily kill most of the creeps (giants are nearly dead). The fireball is a nice spell to do high dmg 2 other demigods or to kill towers and his ice spells with their interrupt are really helpfull in late game.

Well lets talk about his dmg in late game:

Rain of Ice 800 (2 effects that can be consumed by Deep Freeze)

Frost Nova        (nice stun and slow at demigods and creeps and 1 effect that can be consumed by Deep Freeze)

Deep Freeze 1275 (only on singel target with all 3 effects consumed, but it is an nice interrupt and the cooldown is increased by 220%)

Fire Ball 1350   (just a single target, maybe demigod or tower)

 

gz you just did 3425 dmg in 6 seconds on a single target, killed lot of creeps, damaged towers and slowed the giants that are still alive, i think TB has a lot of potential in late game.

 I play a lot of lvl 20 starting games but my question is are we talking about 1v1 or are we talking about group 3v3 or 4v4?

 

  From playing Rook what works from 1-10 doesn't work well at 20.  Towers become worthless because they gimp his normal autoattack damage which is higher..

 

  I build around stun,  stats,  hammer,  and godstrength with my stuff up to trebuchet.

Assassin oak with bishops. nothing can beat him 1v1 after he max out all his skill. just played a game vs a hybrid beast with BotS, killed several times early game (also my fault, i take too much risk), but after lvl 10. he couldn't face me anaymore 1v1.

I was in that game Izuz, I was playing the Regulus (which is definitively not one of the strongest late DG espacially the snipe/mines type).

We made a nice comeback, but I tend to think that 1vs1 is not the only criteria we should count on to determine "best late DG". The map also has its influence.

I agree with you Kyogiro, but when u think about the portal war at war score 8+, really 1v1 can be crucial in terms of defendin your portal or lasting 5 more second to lock and TP out from enemy base.
