Localisation Bug ??

Hey everyone,

I was playing Demigod without any special problems (apart from the ones that everyone have), but I got one today.

I dunno if it's related to the beta patch or not (my impulse was set on show pre release and beta automaticly, so it proposed an update to demigod that i did). The thing is I had it installed in French language. And now, could it be because of this patch (or the one just before), Demigod start up in english, and I dont have the demigod voices in the demigod choosing menu (like torchbearer, or anyone that actually talk. The beast sound is working nice).

I think this is a localisation problem, but how to solve it ? Is it normal and due to beta patch ?

I will probably try to uninstall and reinstall the game, to see if problem solves itself

Thx for reply mate.

That's weird... What reason could unable the localisation voices and so on for other languages than english, with "no idea of when it will be solved" ? I mean... The voices are there, we had them before that patch...

I'm trying that "Verify installation" thing a guy was talking about on another thread. I'll keep you in touch of the results

not sure but you can try this:

- uncheck pre release

- restart impulse

- verify demigod installation

- downgrade

Maybe the old language settings are back now, but if not

- change game.prefs for GUI translation

or

deinstall game, install game will put translation back
