This week, we poetic souls are going to pillage songs we love to express ourselves. (Yes. Very sneaky of us).

Using only song lyrics, complete the following sentences from your own perspective:

Lots of room for interpretation ... just how I like it.

(And yes, yes, I’m about 15 hours late. Don’t blame me. Blame my ex-housemate Adam and his girlfriend for visiting us. I tried to write my blog, and everyone teased me !. Even my husband !. They called me a nerd !. I had to wait until all the healthy, tanned, outdoorsy people went to the beach to hide inside and write my Friday Five !. Bah on them. They’ll all be sorry when they look like leather handbags at 40).

Why don't people write the names of the songs and the artists? Why? WHY? Are you taunting me? I can almost grab the names of most of them, but they keep running away just as I close my hand on them. Have some compassion guys - fill me in!


Here's mine -

1 - Motley Crue - Home Sweet Home(There's one for you citahellion. How do I make the dots appear on my u?)

2 - Steve Miller Band - Fly Like an Eagle

3 - Dashboard Confessional - Hands Down

4 - Bon Jovi - Misunderstood

Actually, you need them on the o, too, don't you? Mötley Crüe.
For O-umlaut, hold the Alt-key and type "148" on your keypad.
For U-umlaut, hold the Alt-key and type "129" on your keypad.

Now for some reason, my browser (FireFox) doesn't like it when you do the Alt-148, it interprets it as a "Back" command. For that I ended up cut-and-pasting from another window.

friday five, and all who partake in her, may soon be famous !!!

ok, not famous, exactly. a little better known perhaps ?. ok, infamous may be a better word. ok, ok, i'll tell the truth ... all that's really going to happen is that i'm planning a 'best of friday five - so far', mostly because there are so many hilarious, touching, insightful and just plain bizarre comments in here that i'm certain they add up to a 'bigger' article in some way - these just have to be heard !.

(i'd do a short blog before hand explaining what i'd do and asking if anybody minds being quoted or included just to be certain, though).
