You're Banned!: The Forum Game
Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it?

banned for it was some play on understatement and overstatement. I dunno, I was more entertained by the historical conversation.
Banned for needing a nuke to fix your problems. Might I suggest an acceptable retailer?
banned for Achmed's closed back in 2001, sometime after September if I remember correctly. So, yes, please.
Banned because "Ban self for not banning" is some kind of loop, temporal anomaly, and/or cruel abuse of English.
Banned on the 1337 page.
Banned on the temporal anomaly page.
banned for this thread is now 1337! Yay!
And he edited, hence why the ban makes sense.
Banned for sense and cents.
Banned for the 6th sense.
Banned because your scent has more cents than your sense!
What does that even mean?
Banned because it means that you've developed some sort of olfactory spying device, possibly Internet-connected. Creepy.
banned for espionage. Something rotten in the state of Denmark.
Banned for decomposing Danish espionage.
Banned for composing English bans.
Banned for Google oversætter og en engelsk sammensætning.
Banned for typing The Name That Claims Not to Be Evil.
banned for OJ has nothing to do with this.
Banned because I'm a nihilist, so I might not be the most qualified to figure this one, but ordering God to bless America all the time seems a bit... presumptive.
Banned because you can't possibly be a Nihilist. You too obviously care about too many things. That, or your youthful excess of certainty is showing again.
Banned because it's probably the latter.
But I'm a weird sort of nihilist. I see a meaningless universe as a blank slate, which Humans (or maybe other sentients?) can shape to whatever form we want. So we can care about whatever we damn well please.
That's not exactly a nihilist. I think you should read the Vedas. Brahma is the original god, born at the same time as the universe. They are one, the universe being the unconscious material and Brahma being the conscious ethereal. Yet Brahma has no assumptions, no goals, no desires, rather Brahma exists for the sake of existence itself. In such an ideology, many ask what the meaning of it all is, but often fail to realize that the only meaning is that which you assign to it. It's a world truly of your own making as we are all shards of this existence, a part of god trying to figure itself out. Nihilism says that it's all for naught and that we are all destined to be alone, where the core of Hinduism says that all will continue to go on and that we can make of it whatever we choose, even to the point of ascension, an ideal unity that stands in direct opposition of nihilism.
banned for I think you're more optimistic than you think.
Soo.... you're trying to convert SD to Hinduism, third largest "religion" in the world?
No complaints.
Quite frankly, I'm a Nihilist, too. I don't go around shooting down other religions, I just don't give a damn if they're right or wrong. Nothing I can do to prove they're right, also nothing I can do to tell stubborn rednecks god isn't real. (Trust me, I've tried)
SD: Banned because the Soviets weren't trying to "Go out in a blaze of glory" at all, had you read my initial post. The entire purpose of the war was to delay the inevitable: The collapse of a Communist Economy to a Capitalist one.

banned for I am not converting him to anything. He gave himself a label and then said what he believed. I'm just steering him toward a label which is in better alignment to his description. If he pursues it, whatever. If he simply prefers to use this info as a new way of explaining to others his thoughts, whatever. If he ignores me all together, whatever.
And if you've tried to teach rednecks that god doesn't exist, isn't that shooting down their religion?
Somebody has issues with religion methinks.
Uh huh. Good chain of argument.
Yep.
Banned because they want to be nihilists because it sounds cool.
