Looks good at this side, better, looks incredible! I'm not sure if it's faster though and need sa little getting used to it. :)

Some comments on my reaction to the new site:
Win.Customize banner is even taller than the other site. A waste of space. Tabs did shorten the area a bit but still wider overall.
When I open the first page I have to page down or scroll to get to anything I want to view. The top part is filled with featured skin, featured suite(purchase item),top skins,and ads(Stardock). Even the library isn't visible. As you can tell I'm only using 1024 but still.
I will probably make "newest" my opening page but then I miss the news,etc. Liked it better when the newest page had thumbnails.
First thing I have to do on every page is scroll down. I'm a subscriber and purchaser of many programs, etc. so find it very irritating. I've already clicked 'buy'. Preferred the other site where they are are on the side.
And a bit 'too white, too bright' on the front page only. The other pages have more white so it might be just the contrast.
It's slower on front page loading. (Firefox or Mozilla,XP,cable)
Don't like the last download 'feature'. Don't like the posting of 'names'
I do like the tabs.

T-Man, you might want to hard code it so that when one access their own site the counter for site hits doesn't keep adding. Just a thought.

WOM....T-man must have something in place because Site Views (which for example I hit the refresh button adds a view) is different from site hits on the stats page (refresh button doesn't change that)

I would like it if the threads had a return to button at the bottom and when you opened up a thread that you had previously read, it would go to where you left off.....basically just like the old site :)

As has been said..quite a few times is that we won't have per user site skins any time soon. We plan to have different site sites that the admins set for everyone but not on a per user basis.

Great job on the site to all involved!! One question that I can't find the answer for - how do you get the user icon in the forums (i.e. Frogboy's "frog", Essencay's "dog", etc..)? Thanks to anyone that can help.

If you are logged in (and you have your own WinCustomize Personal Site), you can access your account properties by clicking on the 'My Account' link located top right of the website. Then click the 'Update Images' tab to upload you very own personal icon. :)

Only those with personal pages will have personal icons. And only those who subscribe to WC or have apprentice access or higher can make personal pages. ;)

I'm not noticing much of a difference from the old site as far as functionality. Tangerine bad. Navy blue good.

I've been a fan of skinanble software for 5 yrs now. Your site and DeviantArt are the kings by far. BUT!! Sorry guys but my first thought was YUCK. The functionality has definately been improved, by the tabs for example, but TABS? Ewww. Maybe the type function but a bit different approach. And yes it does load faster thanks to the caching.

Think its ok but can not update my personal information: States I am 21 and boy do I wish I was again. Also, can not add comments to skins. Other then that, its good.

You can change your DOB easily enough. Click on My Account, then Personal Information, the DOB is in there
