Looks awesome! I like the options for Bold, Italics, and underline, plus the extra stuff. Need some more smilies though ;)

Unless I missed it, I didn't see the latest submissions on the front page.

Other then that, I think it looks great! Can't wait till it's fully up and running :CONGRAT:

I didn't notice the newest tab so that was my fault about not seeing the latest submissions.

The tab thing is a great addition.

The "Newest" tab is an especially nice feature with the thumbnails.

T-Man, I posted an article on my JoeUser site today but it still doesn't show on my WC page. All my other articles show and the articles on my watch list show.
Does it just take a while to sync up? Or is there something you could look at?

Hey TasT, I've updated the Bold, Italics, and Underline for FireFox/Mozilla users and you should be okay now. Still working on a solution for Opera users, but a fix I'm certain is on the way.

I hope this either is or will be fixed on Joeuser also. :)

Very Nice. Will there be new themes? I noticed that the pages load much slower than the old site, until you return to them. Then, they load much faster than the old site. It's looking good though. :CONGRAT:

I agree with WOM....it's going to take some getting use to after 3 years of the old platform. Looks great however & I hope all is uploaded & ready soon! :D :D :D

This might sound really sad, but Wincustomize site is the only thing that keeps me alive! I just love coming on to this site and checking for new programs/skins/stories etc... and then customizing my computer to how I want it, and not how Microsoft wants it!
I would like all people to know that, although still in Beta stage, Right-click is going to be the best program ever invented!

Very nice, a great improvement over the original.

Only issue is as Woodbridge mentioned and that's Opera isn't 100% yet, but hopefully will be :)

This is a nice lay-out. I'm using Avant browser and the pages seems to come up real fast. I've done a little html in the past and I know what a chore it can be on a personal level. It's a little bright, so down the line I hope we will be able to pick the background colors. Over all, NICE JOB!

The home page is very clean and crisp. It's not as jumbled as old site. I like that you can link to more information if you want to. That way it keeps the front page more appealing.

Personally...I like the current site better. Yeah I know shoot me, but this one is cool too. And I'm sure that after awhile of using this one I'll like it just as much as the current one.

One problem I just had was one I've been having often in discussion with SDC as well. I clicked on the "store" tab and I got a page saying that my login failed even though I'm logged in. After hitting my back button and clicking on "store" again it was ok.

Question...Will we be able to decide how many images we see under each category or are we now limited to 5 images per page? I've never had a problem with pages loading and one thing I like about the current site is being able to view more than 5 wallpapers or Windowblinds at a time.

We do not have any plans at this moment to allow the users to choose a different theme for the site.  In an effort to be able to cache more pages we felt that having user defined site skins would make this process very difficult.  So in an effort to get the best performance we felt that getting rid of the site theme manager was the best way to go.  I know many of you are going to grumble about this but try not to.  We will in the future make new skins that we will be able to change.  Possible like a holiday theme or such.  But at this time we do not have any additional skins for the site.

As far as viewing 5 skins per page....Yes, in the near future you will be able to customize that and select a preset value.  Something along the lines of 5,10,25 or 50 skins per page.  But in order to get a feel for how the new site is going to perform we wanted to hard code it at 5 skins per page for its initial phase.

Hey really nice layout and design specially the cut-out effect and the fact that each page have different colour and feeling......just a suggestion....may be its time to make new emotions...I am sure there are lot of good designers on WC ;)


and ya one question....whats "Top Advocates" about and what exactly is referals???....anyone wanna help??/...

and ya....just found out something but I am not sure thats the ting or not......when you go to wallpapers section...the "Top Authors" and "Top Wallpapers" section is updated instantly as the download # inscreases instead of updating at the end of the day......is it true??

Also, can you make it possible to de-couple the articles from here and Joe User?

I'm not really sure that I want the skinning community on the whole to real my personal blog (nor would most of them care to). IN general my normal blog posts pollute the look of my site because it's not focused on skinning/customization.
