This is what I’m talking about! It is a very minuscule issue however no one seems to care to say this is wrong and that is right. It is very sadden that we can’t even try to solve this infinitesimal issue. I’m just bamboozled by few individuals who are still trying to defend amateurish person. To be honest with you, all the problems we have now would have already been settled down by now if those elected individuals (form both sides) had reacted to the matter quickly. I know some of us have been inflated just like a balloon and waited to be deflated. If you’re all know what I mean.

Ignite, for the most part, you are right. But if we use a little bit of common sense, do not you think, it is the responsibly of the leaders to act on our behalf to do the right thing? When we talk community matter, the right thing means 1, Obligation & performing according to our charter 2, Listen to the members & respond to their concern 3, Most importantly, to work towards bringing all Hararis closer. Correct me if I am wrong. We are where we are today because of these Leaders' negligence of the issue. I don’t why a very basic but vital request became complex issue! What should we do with kind of leaders (Both Afochas leaders)???

I am correct in saying, “you are missing the point.” Your response to my post is not really a response to my points, rather a repetition of all that I have read on this forum, from the start to present. If I had to tell it like it is, I would say your response is full of insinuations, name calling and finger pointing. Last but not least, the “tone” of your response is also argumentative and combative, which doesn’t promote a civil exchange of ideas and opinions.

Ignite, whatever you say it is your opinion and I respect that. It is also our cultures to pass judgment on some one so promptly. It got so plunge into our system and we can’t even help it. Am I right or wrong? I’m pretty sure you know the answer to this. Anyhow, it seems like you don’t deem in creating forum. If so, what are you for? Let me jog your memory a bit. Brother Mohammed Mulat had invited all harries who reside here in the bay area just to get to the bottom of this issue. And here is my question to you. How many of us had replied to his invitation? Let me just leave it this way and you do the rest of reading. It is very simple, just go back and read how the situation had come to a complete halt. Finally, I want you to know that this discussion form is a communication channel too. Just like you and I are writing back and forth, others (who are responsible for this whole mess from both side) would be able to do it too. It is a very simple task and all they have to do is just strike the keyboard. This is as simple as it get. Once again I think you are not getting my point. I am not saying the forum isn’t necessary, instead I am saying that it hasn’t been fruitful till now. That is why I am suggesting that those who are really concerned from both afochas should actively work within their afochas to highlight the issues first. If there are consensus to move forward then the two sides will get together to address their problems. All I am saying is, you don’t keep doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

Ignite; your message is loud and clear. However there is one problem why you and I have failed to communicate well. Because others and I have passed segment one and you’re still in chapter one. This means you’re still at the beginging of the issue. What you’re saying had been already attempted and both elected AFOCHAs had botched to implement their duties. How we’re going to get to the bottom of it? Allah knows.

I started the topic "Telling It Like It Is" with the idea of proving some points. I hereby closed this topic having proven the points I set out to prove, these points being, 1) this forum alone will not be useful in resolving your issues, you need some movements within your individual afochas. 2) The forum lacks divers views and opinions on the issues at hand, as shown in the topic I introduced, “Telling It Like It Is”, there were just two participants. 3) Even if there are enough participants, their contributions are such that meaningful discussion is not possible for nobody stay focused on the issue at hand long enough to discuss the topic and reach a logical conclusion; as shown by the only two participants, “The community” and “Hareri”. Therefore those of you who are really concerned, while being active on this forum, should also think about creating ways to involve your community leadership in your own individual communities. Also while taking part on this forum, we should all stay focused on the topic at hand and avoid being confrontational. The best way to stay positive and focused is to keep your response to the point and relevant to the topic under discussion, in so doing we will be able to bring all topics under discussion to their logical conclusions. Permission to play “hardball” I want to create a new topic called “Let Us Play Hardball” the purpose is to moderate a question and answer session between the two parties. The two parties are those who are dug in, holding their own positions, as to who is responsible for the splitting of the “Afocha.” During these proceedings, I want the two parties answering three fundamental questions, while making their own case or point. These questions are 1) Do you believe there are issues/problems? 2) How did the issues/problems arise? 3) How do you resolve them? When I deem necessary and at a time of my choosing, I will intervene and bring this particular question and answer session to its “logical” conclusions. Are you game Mr. Web Master? Let me know, cause I am drafting the rules for this session. Just a memento: Do you all know that the people who created all this chaos are still working as elected officials on both AFOCHAs? Consequently, no matters what have been said in this discussion forum or anywhere else, these elected officials don’t want hear about it. Furthermore, if anyone brings the issue to the surface, they put sanction on it. That is way we all going back to the same circle. Keep in mind, how many times the opening part of the issue (are they willing to sit down and work out their differences?) had been discussed. 1st Abdi, 2nd SJ1, and now ignite and goes on and on and on and on unless the first part of the issue gets attention from both sides. Therefore, here is my suggestion to Ignite, if you’re truly serious and want to get to the bottom of the issue, make sure they pay attention to your opening statement and see if they’re staid too. If you succeed in this, the rest will be much easier. Insha Allah.
