I think what you guys overlook is that people who do stuff like this eat up this kind of attention. The last thing a troublemaker wants is to be ignored.

Regardless, of late JU is not what it used to be, for me, anyway. This mirrors what I think happened on another forum in this community that I don't bother with anymore. I'm not saying the place has been "hijacked", or that people don't have the right to be here, not at all. It's just like when you have a "place" in life, and you love it, and over time more people love it, and you look up one night and it is a completely different place.

Maybe it is just election season. I think I'll take a vacation, lol...

Ok Muggaz so if someone was posting terrorist threats what would you think? That they too have a right to be here and we should laugh at it? When someone posts a blog that homosexuals should be gased and that goes for people with HIV as well..hmm what would you expect people to think..that we should just laugh it off? That we should think comments about bashing lesbians or wives should be laughed off?

Ok if he is laughing then let him laugh, if other people want to join in let them join in but Im no longer going to sit back and just say oh well im going to ignore him, oh well im supposed to see the irony in it, regardless if he specifies that he is being ironic or not or there is a disclaimer to make people who arent involved in the irony dont know about it.

Yeah, and the tripe you see on TV or hear on the radio is any better? People tune in to worse than this every day and eat it up. Why don't you expand your "Crusade of Outing" to include the people who make the shit they call TV and radio too, while you're on your moral cleansing and quest for truthfulness?

Let me give you a little hint...someone says something you don't like, tell them to go fuck themselves and ignore them. If you feel threatened, shake a fist (virtual or otherwise) at them. Seems to work for me, and people get the hint rather quickly.

All of this so-called "drama" bores me to tears. If you ask me, all of this crap sounds nothing more than kids yelling "Get off my property". Just as much as people don't have a right to tell you what and what not to write about...you have no right to dictate the same. As KarmaGirl says, if it's in the forums, it's subject to moderation. Other than the personal insults, I have not seen Sir Peter say anything that was worthy of moderation - Karma and Draginol can obviously accept his writing for what it is... absolute brilliance! and I have no doubt that they are questioning why you cant accepts what it is... well, whatever that may be for you...

Mano, many of my pieces are OPINION pieces; I have stated as much repeatedly. Your name is ironic when you consider the total lack of tolerance you give to differing opinions (conservatives have as much a place in a world of "diversity" as do liberals).

As for tolerance, believe me, there is no one more tolerant than me. I live in Israel and am subjected to opinions of every degree. I have always maintained an attitude of respect for all opinions, with the hope that if I disagree with one I may be able to change it.
I never censored someone because of a different opinion, nor have I ever lowered myself to name calling; both of which you have done.
You may not agree with what I have to say politically, but that is not a reason to call me a liar or blacklist me.
BUT, I'm glad we finally agree on something, perhaps now we have the basis to build a friendship.

For the record, I did not call you a liar, I stated that your position was a lie; and was prepared to present the relevant information, but more pressing life issues arose and I was forced to meet them. By the time I returned, I judged that hunting down the thread and substantiating my response was no longer topical.

I do not apologize for holding the position; I actually can defend it and will at a later time. I do, however, apologize for what appeared to be a snipe (I intended to back up the argument that evening, but that was the day my wife went into early labor). I actually do respect some of your outlook, I just think it's a bit myopic at times (and will unblacklist you shortly; like baker, I usually just use it for "cooling off").
