A Skinning Contest and Two Community Projects

Just in case the members of the community have been wondering about what just goes on around here, I thought I might mention a few things that are happening and getting ready to happen.

Two community skinning projects are now in motion. I'm not sure that it was even given any thought that they started about the same time, but then it is for the community, right.

It would appear that it's going to be the Zubaz's ban of merry skinners putting their skills and talents up against Jafo's serious minded skinners who are looking to put together a HUGE Theme. (I wonder if some skinners are working on both projects? Hmmm, that could get interesting.) :SURPRISED:

I'm not sure that they have all the skinning help they need so if you have a mind to, go to the posts and volunteer your talents. :HOT: 

Now if that wasn't enough activity to keep you busy, the 3rd WinCustomize Community Skinning Contest gets under way on Feb 15th. This little contest was put together by BX with some help of some sponsors (see, even if you can't skin one lick you can still sponsor stuff around here).

Now while all of this is going on skinners are downloading new skins daily to the Gallery Libraries. Just pretty darn amazing if you ask me. :CONGRAT: 

Does it stop there, no. The Stardock folks keep coming out with their updates and bug fixes. Oh, did I mention Stardocks Design Team has managed to offer up some free WB's also. :HOT: 

Yeah it's too bad nothing ever happens around this community. Makes you wonder what everyone is doing with all that spare time on their hands.  :LOL:

Zubaz, I really think that most folks don't realize that WinCustomize is more than just a place to grab some free skins. There seems to always be something going on here, maybe we need to get the word out better.  :LOL:  :LOL:  :LOL:

If I was a betting man I would say that the Birthday suite will be completed way before Heavy Equipment even gets started. They seem a little confused over at the Community Skin Project.

Although Zubaz can't spell...He's a little more organized. :LOL:

Well, a week from today and a lot of you will be downloading your entries for the 3rd WinCustomize Community Skinning Contest. With the type of talent ahown around here the judges are not going to have an easy time with making their selections.  ;)

The Heavy Equipment suite was finished years ago.  Anything since is merely updates and/or additions...;)

The NEXT Community Skin is to be as extensive and diverse as HE was, not limited to the WC Gallery listings but can include anything skinnable.  As with HE it will ALL derive from identical base images/graphics/fonts/etc....;)

Well the community projects seem to be moving along very well, I have to go check the links today to see if more graphic or screeshots are posted. :HOT: 

Just FOUR days until the start of the 3rd WinCuctomize Community Skinning Contest. I'm really wanting to see what the skinners here have ready to show us all.  :)
