DeskScapes 2.0 beta arrives!

Got Windows Vista? Got Object Desktop? Then animate your wallpaper

image
DeskScapes provides animated wallpaper for all users of Windows Vista.

Animated wallpaper isn't just for Windows Vista Ultimate users anymore.  With the release of beta 1 of DeskScapes 2.0 on Object Desktop, all users of Vista can use the hundreds of available .DREAM files here on WinCustomize as their animated backgrounds.

Object Desktop users also get some exclusive animated wallpaper content including four dynamic dreams (Water Dream, Earth Dream, Water Color, and Box Sample).

If you don't have Object Desktop, you can get it here.

Sometimes dates move backwards and sometimes dates move forwards.  They are not set in stone.

And that's your answer......and you really think you're a professional organisation...okay then! Keep taking the dried frog pills guys.

I'm not aware that we ever claimed to be a professional organization.

Perhaps you would prefer us to follow the example of certain major software vendors, and release based on schedule rather than on readiness? :-)

Surely the fact that Stardock aren't prepared to release it until it is as near to perfect as possible only confirms that they are a professional outfit.
harrym...what is so desperately urgent that you can't wait a while for a finished product?

As it happens, we would very much like to have it ready, as it would mean that we could promote it and sell more copies of our software. Unfortunately, we sometimes have unforeseen problems, or other projects which have taken priority for a short time. This is how things go in consumer software development.

If this disturbs you, I suggest waiting to purchase our software until you have the ability to try it without purchase. This will encourage us to finish it.

You're probably hesitant to say, given some of the previous posts, but any new estimates on a release date?

Yes but the beta is not all you get, you also get all of Object Desktops software along with it, now I'm laughing because you failed to realize this.

You're not laughing as hard as I am, you see, unfortunately you totally fail to realise I only want to try the beta, I have no use for the 'object desktop software'.
