Wishing Health To My Friend

Wishing Health To My Friend

Hope you get better soon WG!

To my friend, mentor and all around good guy WebGizmos, I wish you a speedy recovery from your ailments. You are an integral part of this community, an incredible source of knowledge on ObjectDock and help out any who ask. I'm still greatfull for all the help you gave me when starting out and I hope I can be the same source of information that you are for others just starting out. I don't want this to get too sappy so...just know that I'm thinking of you and wishing you good health and happy days my friend.  :D

You Know....the one thing that sucks about his site.....not being able to meet all the great and caring people here face to face.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there, WG... I'd dearly love to meet dozens upon dozens of great, caring and talented people who frequent this great and diverse community of ours... if only to say thanks for the memories, the caring, the terrific artwork/skins, etc, etc.

I'm never ceased to be amazed at how the people of this site think nothing of it to rally around in support.... doesn't matter what it's about - quitting the smokes; feeling a bit blue; being unwell or just lacking in motivation - WCers will make you feel like you're never facing it alone. :)

Hang in there Giz. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel, even if it's a long and winding one. Just keep your hopes up, keep your faith strong and soldier on as best you can.
Prayers and thoughts are with you.

Thanks again everyone! ;)

Hanging in there isn't a problem....for how long I'm not sure...one can only take so much pain and discomfort and there doctors more concerned with getting paid and pushing useless drugs than finding out whats wrong. And to make matters worse now they have discontinued my Medicaid, so now I won't even be able to get sub standard care. Apparently since I have had to give up one of my jobs because of this "condition," I now make to much money...go figure.

Tried finding some sort of health insurance, but if you have a pre-existing condition decent health insurance won't accept you and I've have gotten ripped off by two of these so-called concerned health insurance outfits that do.

So now I'm pretty much on my own and have to find some sort of over the counter help so to speak. So now its one day at a time. Kinda sucks living in this country where the health care is claimed to be the best...what a joke.

I hear ya, WG. For ten years, Medicare paid for meds. Since Plan B, They abruptly stopped, now I have to come up with $10.00/day X 30 days every month. Disability pays 1200/month. Do the math. Add in parochial school X 2, rent, food, gas and heat...

Amen, brother, amen

You think it's weird now? Wait 'til after re-election.

Can someone please pass the absinthe over here?

It's kinda like those funky tools you buy on sale that break upon first use; should all be stamped BOHICA*

*bend over...here it comes again

Dear WebGizmos, I wish you health and speedy recovery, too. I know that if you are not in the same situation you can't understand but trully I wish you to be well again soon. My father has a similar problem. He has aneurysm (4.9 centimeters) and big aorta. He takes medicines but thankfully, he is not in pain. Doctors told him that he has to take care of his diet, quick smoking and alcohol, take his medicine and NOT to be stressed. And only if his aneurysm go to 5.5 centimeters they will discuss for another treatment. I know your problem is different but I hope doctors advices help. I also want to tell you hang in there and not despare, because GOD thinks different than humans. I will tell you a personal experience: One day as I was in hospital they brought a 80-years old lady, who had chest pains and couldn't breathe and had a problem same with my father. With her, was her doughter, a retired 55 years old gymnast. After two months (I had already forgotten her) I heard that her doughter died (no health problems in her life). Her mother? She is 92 and better than me. Go figure. What I want to say is that even in worst cases, we have to leave our hope in GOD and NOT despare.
*Please don't think that I am one of those religious fanatics, because I'm not(I sadly admit I haven't been in church for 3 years). But it comes that time for all of us to have an adventure that makes many of us better than priests.
Anyhow I don't want to dizzy you with long talks, so for another time I wish you the best. :CONGRAT:

Thanks guys.

Update as of now. Stopped taking the meds I was given by the Neurologist since I won't be seeing them again and getting a lot of rest and I'm actually starting to feel a little better.

I'm also trying out some holistic remedies...I'll let you know if they work. ;)
