WindowBlinds 6 specific skins

How to tell what's been optimized

Skins (aka visual styles) designed specifically for WindowBlinds 6 are displayed with a special WindowBlinds 6 icon in the gallery. When a skinner submits a skni, they can now choose 2 new options: Optimized for WindowBlinds 6 and Supports Windows Vista.

As an example, the first WindowBlinds 6 skin from Stardock Design has been uploaded into the gallery and can be found here.

Enjoy!

Perhaps listing the differences between a 5 and 6 skin might help too

What was done to optimize for WB6 I think is what everyone is wondering.

What earns it the badge in particular?

Adding features that are new to WB6 to the skin such as blurring and Vista features.

Any skin will blur if forced in XP so other than that.. what makes an XP skin WB6 optimized, If there is nothing else then all fairly recent skins can also get "badged" and updated in list then ?

Perhaps listing the differences between a 5 and 6 skin might help too?

So, how do you search for just Vista skins or just Windowblinds 6 skins?

I suggested grouping a couple of times to no avail. I have seperate sections on Maxstyles. I don;t see how it can hurt. Compared, the OS's skin rather differently they should be categorized as such.

And the badges don't even show up in the library like how the Master skin ones do (aren't they supposed to??). It's like looking for a needle in a needle stack, I don't see how it makes finding compatible skins any easier.

In the entry four or five down titled "WindowBlinds 6 only hours away..." you show several skins, which I presumed came with the install. But they all don't and I really like the look of the third one across. How can I get that skins please? Thanks.

I'm hoping that one of the mods/site admins can explain that to me.

The feature just isn't in there.  A search on those will be added soon.  New stuff just takes time sometimes.

Still unclear on what constitutes a WB6 optimized skin...(other than having blur specified in the code and WB6 makes that sort of a non-issue)

Still looking for the TURBO skin
