Need Some Prayers or Whatever

Need Some Prayers or Whatever

My Nephew Christofer Leaves for Iraq next Saturday, he is going to Baghdad, then Anbar Provence.

Can I get some prayers or good thoughts for his safe return?

I am very proud of him for serving his country.

Be safe Chris, do your country proud. More Importantly, at all times watch your six.

love, Uncle, Elie

thank you for kind thoughts, not just for my nephew, but for me when I was so deathly ill

although it's an inversion of common usage, both are truly thankless tasks in that neither requires any sorta thanking.

in fact, you did all the work in that hospital...and it's a damn good thing too. i, for one, am unwilling to even contemplate what kinda inferior substitute of itself this world would be without a moderateman.

this has got to be without a doubt the kindess, thing ever said about me here on Joeuser.

When somebody asks for prayer I try to do so right then and there. Otherwise I can forget or get too busy with so much to pray over. Too many times in the past I've said "yes, I'll be sure to pray for you." and did not. So, here goes Elie.

Our Father & Our God

We come to you on behalf of Christopher. We pray for your almighty protection as only you can do. We ask that you put a hedge of protection all around him. You tell us we have not because we ask not. We are asking Lord, right here and now. Please protect this young man as he goes off to protect us. May you bless him, may your face shine upon him. May he draw closer to you as a result of all this. May he be strong and courageous in the face of adversity and may he come home to give his uncle a strong hug with many stories to tell about your love and well being for his soul.

We pray this all in your precious name.
