Ok, for us guys, she was sweet eye candy (when she dropped the life saver).  She knew how to keep herself up, and became rich by making an old man's last year a very happy one.  But really people!  Front page?  The Photo spot?

Both Foxnews, and CNN (and I dont check out MSNBC as that is just a rag) have it in their lead spot!  Which is stupid!  She was a celeb!  Not an important person who cured something or changed something!

left or right, if you think any of the news outlets are being objective right now, you really will but a bridge in Brooklyn!

Sorry she is dead. Last I heard was she was unresponsive dead people are good at ignoring people. I don't know much about the lady as she has never occupied much of my life. The first I heard of her was when her son died. I still don't know what all the fuss is about.

She's another small town girl that the world chewed up and spit out. A lot of people will probably try to blame Playboy or reality TV, etc., but in the end some people can handled the ups and downs of fame, and some people can't. I would be far more apt to blame the people who stood around and watched her eat pills by the handful for the last few years, pretending to be friends.

Rumour is her boyfriend murdered first her son and then her for the money. I don't think he's going to get it though; her ex-husband's family have got their claws in pretty deep. And good on them too. Anna Nicole put with the corpse whilst they were married, and his family were in it for the long haul too, but this new guy doesn't deserve a dime.

what a tragic story tho. First her son dies and then herself with a small child left behind. What a messy life she had.

Just goes to show that money cannot buy happiness. We need to remember that.

She was the Monroe for this generation, and whilst I'm sad to hear of her death I'm really not surprised. She's been on a slippery slope for years....all the incoherent mumbling appearances told me that she was fighting a losing battle against whatever monkies were riding on her back.

She's not even cold yet, but the battle for custody of her child has already begun. I guess that we'll find out who the 'baby-daddy' is now, huh?!

I think its tragic.

I didn't have a place in my life for Anna, but it was nice to see her out there.  I feel so bad for her baby.

Lots of theories ran through my head, and as I sat here and typed them all out I realized that being a controversial celebrity doesn't make her any less of a person and I felt bad talking ill of the dead. So I will keep those to myself.

I do feel bad for the baby, though. She has a life full of unanswered questions ahead of her.

yeah I know. I just thought I'd toss in a nice absurd little conspiracy theory. Faking her death wouldn't actually accomplish anything, I was just being facetious.

It's sad. You never know maybe she would have been able to get it together and turn her life around.

I have to agree that this shouldn't be headline news though. It's just the 24 hour news cycle is a monster that has to be fed. I'm sure the diaper wearing astronaut is glad it took some of the spotlight off her.
