I bet one of the things that pis the Muslim nutjobs the most is the way women get treated in the west.. and they do not want that spreading to their women.

Nah I'm serious. Catch some Arabic pop one of these days. The amount of sexy in those things is almost at rap standards. They definitely show hair, faces, nail polish and, occasionally, male escorts. But mostly just insanely tight clothes. And bad music, of course.

Of course most of that comes out of the Gulf and Egypt. There are a few countries so oppressed by their dictatorial governments that serious sharia is enforced, but they're fading away over time. Give it a hundred years and I predict the area will be a very different place (if it's still around).

Yeah, I guess you are right, the Paki's created such a ruckus, when one of their actresses was requested to give a kissing scene in an Indian movie, the scene was finally not a part of the movie.

Yeah, I guess you are right, the Paki's created such a ruckus, when one of their actresses was requested to give a kissing scene in an Indian movie, the scene was finally not a part of the movie.

To be fair there was the same response in the US 50 years ago. Pakistan has only just starting being involved in mainstream cinema. Attitudes will change in time.

No, but I was referring to the response to kissing in films. I remember reading in history class that there used to be major 'issues' with kissing in western films back in the old days. Constant cries that it's 'against God' and such-like. You weren't allowed to portray God either.

All those objections passed with time; I think Pakistan's will too as they start to see the money in 'smut'.
