The database server upgrade is now completed.  The process was pretty smooth and painless so that was a big sigh of relief.  And so far it appears that site is definitely running better with the new DB Server in place.  There is still always room for improvement but this was definitely a big step in the right direction. :D

Let us know how things are running for you.  Does the site feel faster, slower, the same?  We are interested in hearing from you how everything is working.  Also, if you run into any thing we may have broken along the way please let us know that so we can get it fixed asap.

The speed is so slow here it's almost not worth my time. It's got me thinking whether it's worth my money!

Still on dialup here and pages loads vary from time to time...one minute fast next minute everything hangs. Hopefully when I get my dsl things will be faster.

For whatever reason, the initial speed increase was short-lived. I'm on cable & page loads today frequently take minutes of "Waiting for www.wincustomize.com..."

I agree. I'm on 5mbps dsl and I had multiple troubles today. It's every bit as slow as it was.
That is if I could access the site at all.

Looks a couple things were not happy over the weeked.  I wasn't here on the weekend to see this first hand so I'm not sure what the cause was.  Will have to investigate and see if we can figure it out.

Now that you have returned Janitor T-Man, why does nothing update on the site since the conversion 6 days ago ? Same front page, same Popular Skins, Artist, Download stats,etc.

Yet another example of how Stardock lets their people put their "lives" ahead of us. My only hope is when the Drengin overlords come they take T-Man first.

I know them personally and trust me, I won't be the first.  But I  know who will be.

Now that you have returned Janitor T-Man, why does nothing update on the site since the conversion 6 days ago ? Same front page, same Popular Skins, Artist, Download stats,etc.

Looking into it.
