The database server upgrade is now completed.  The process was pretty smooth and painless so that was a big sigh of relief.  And so far it appears that site is definitely running better with the new DB Server in place.  There is still always room for improvement but this was definitely a big step in the right direction. :D

Let us know how things are running for you.  Does the site feel faster, slower, the same?  We are interested in hearing from you how everything is working.  Also, if you run into any thing we may have broken along the way please let us know that so we can get it fixed asap.

I agree..way faster.. I seem to be having a problem getting the windowblinds to install. Everyone of them asks me to save it instead of running it and placing itself in the folder like it use to. Hopefully it's just one of those few quirks to smooth out. Cheers!

I'm on a pretty fast DSL connection and I had noticed before this recent update that the download for updates on the software was painfully slow before. Today, just now, I updated the Windowblinds and FX software and it was lightening fast

Bringing up different sections of gallery are moving faster also, maybe not to the degree of the downloads, but better still all the same.

A lot of the Stats seem to be malfunctioning and or shut off.

Running much smoother - speedwise , just feels about the same to me " on a good "
Which is fine if it stays at that speed. Front page still takes awhile to load for me but not like it was before. ( before was way too long some days )

Nothing short of remarkable, fantastic, superb....page loads are much quicker in all sections and downloads are zippety doo-dah

Seems about a 9.5 at my end in Huntington Beach, CA....using FiOS/Verizon at 14Mbps. Rating from me would be - 4+1/2 STARS - that's for Double Zero!!!

Maybe it's because I'm in Oz, but it's only marginally faster for me. The initial load lag doesn't seem to have changed much, but once that's taken care of the pages do load faster - but nothing remarkable.
