Well, the bottleneck is no longer on Stardock's end, Drop125 - it's very very noticeably faster & I'm on cable. Something must be holding things up between SD & you.

Nice. Very nice. Fastest this site has ever navigated as long as I've been coming here.

Thx Brad....using FiOS from Verizon at alittle over 14Mbps download speed - the site really moves now. I still have the occational "suspend" going into some sections, but most of the stuff I'm interested in is right there at a click of the mouse! 5/STARS!

Seems to be faster for me!

TerryX: You're the other side of the world. This is an image-heavy site, which means that unfortunately there are a lot of round-trips to make. Stardock doesn't keep cache servers in different countries (at least not for WinCustomize . . . not sure about the latest game release), so I'm afraid it's probably always going to be slow for you. You could try a different browser to see if it pipelines it better, I guess.

Seems good ... faster

TerryX: Yep - it's pretty much the same for me as well, but GreenReaper's comments make sense. Mind you, the speed with which pages display was never really such a pain, there are plenty of other sites that are the same or worse. The download speed is a bit of a pain sometimes though (especially for Stardock Central), but I haven't tried that yet.

anyone else here from australia who thinks the site is just as slow

Yes, me.....but that was only initially....it has since got faster...

Yes, about 10 nanoseconds faster...I love the speed!

Well done. A much needed upgrade!

Blazing fast on Opera and MSN Explorer, still getting occasional stalls on Firefox. That sucks because I use Firefox about 90% of the time. 1.5 DSL. Firefox needs some tweaks I think.

Just zipping along for me this morning.

Better than the past few days, but there's not much internet activity where I live so it's as fast as it's always been for me. Glad you were able to get it back up quickly and hopefully it won't be as severe if it happens again. Keep up the good work.

Terry, dunno where abouts you are, but I'm in Tassie where everything's supposed to be slower/way behind , and it's certainly running much faster here.

Could be something on your end...a real busy phone exchange can do it, so I've been told. I've noticed slight lags at certain times of the day....like when maybe businesses are doing all their internet banking, etc....when the school kids get out and get on the phone yakkin'
