In the June 5th Dev Stream Paul mentioned that they would like to have full-scale creature animations for all the races, but just haven't had time yet. The Terrans were just the first one that they did. Their Cinematics Department is quite busy right now. Let me make this clear; what I'm hoping for is multiple animated creatures for each race (at least the human-like ones), and multiple animated robots in the style of each race - even the Terrans.

Right around the initial release, on the 'Dev Stream,' Paul Boyer displayed all the pages of the star names. There were about 25-40 pages of star names ( not in alphabetical order). You could replay that Dev Stream and pause the stream on each new page of star names and look for yours. That's how I found mine.

I play on Large/Huge maps, and I find that the galactic event which slows all ship-speeds by 25% is a real hit on my enjoyment of the game. It seems to make the game long, slow, and boring. Is there anyway to remove that galactic event from my game? Will I have to wait for a mod to come out? Will the Devs remove that event on large galaxies, or at least make that event optional? What say the rest of you?

I don't believe that you can destroy a faction's shipyard without going to war. Once a war is declared, all the other planets of the faction can attack you at will. They can also try to turn other races against you. You will find your freighters attacked, your constructors attacked, your survey ships attacked, your starports attacked, and you will find new enemies at your doorstep. You will have to cut back on research to build still more war ships.&nbs

One area that I'd like to see improved is the advisers. I'd like to see a DLC that provides more people, more robots, and more backgrounds. I'd even like to see the return of some of the old GalCiv2 adviser robots. The ones currently in the game are rather boring, and they are viewed with such frequency which exacerbates the problem even further. A DLC format would be perfect for an enhancement like this. Would other users like to see a DLC li

I was researching Alliances to get 'Research Alliance' but, when I got there, the research alliance was not selectable. Research Alliance is one of the 'focus' techs, and I believe that it is the bottom of the three alliances. When I was ready to research that 'focus' item, I discovered that the tech item immediately below it had been previously selected and was covering up the Research Alliance tech. I could barely see the outline of the bottom tec

Experienced a 2nd CTD in the last 5 minutes. Again, the sound started to cut out immediately preceding the CTD. The game seems to be extremely unstable.

When you start a new settlement, the first asset you click on is 'rushed' and you get it completed next turn. For example, if you select 'shipyard' you will have it ready next turn. If you accidentally click on the wrong item, then cancel it and select 'shipyard,' then nothing is 'rushed' and your shipyard will take about 25 turns to complete. This is a high price to pay for momentarily clicking on the wrong thing. While you are still
