Darius, you confuse me. Let me just say this. If you want to label me a troll, that's fine. I personally have served in 4 conflicts. I say conflicts because they weren't labeled "wars". To compare what happend to the Iraqis prisioners to Berg is stupid. Sure the U.S. should be held to a higher standard. When it comes to getting info that will save American lives though, strip em, flip em, have dogs bark at em, I don't care, they ain'

Darius, Your just breathing everyone elses good air.
Good article, and I agree. Wahkonta, it's strange that two people as far apart as you and I on politics can agree on one thing as this, boycotting Wal-Mart, McDonalds, and such. My employer requires employees to pass a complete physical once a year,(flexability, treadmill, ECG, blood work), the whole kit. After that we're sent to pass a PT test. It's always amazing to me how many men 20yrs younger than myself struggle to pass
I am dancing around the room, clicking insightful each and everytime I pass my keyboard. Thank you Wahkonta for this informative post. Did you also hear that, "SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!" Bush 2004
Man, I'm sure glad you people only have one vote. I've read just as much "conspiracy theory" crap about John Kerry. It's going to come down to who you want to believe, not who is right. Keep on bloggin' Wannahonkablonka,
Oh, man, I'm so glad to read this post before the election. "Al Qaida endorses Bush" title caught my eye for sure. I clicked the link! Read it too. Al Qaida is responsible for 9/11, and now they're endorsing Bush for President, well my patriotic duty won't allow me to vote for him, now that they're endorsing him. Not after what they did to us. I'm voting for Kerry now for sure. I'll show Al Qaida not to come out and show their hand like that. "EVERYBOD
All politicians have something to be ashamed of. THEY'RE POLITICIANS!
Yeah, I wouldn't want to cut the biggest ones either, BUT! If there's one that's 3,200 yrs old, then there's one 3,199 yrs old, and on down the line to 1yr old. We're not going to cut them all, so the life line won't be broken, and they'll be renewed. Simply explained, but I think you get my point. And I got yours. Good post.
Trees are a renewable resourse. I personally will be looking to buy furniture made from these "National landmarks". Cut 'em GW, cut 'em. You have my vote! Thank you BakerStreet for the informative post.
Very good post Brad, I agree. Damn I'm tired of being "bashed" for being an American, trying to help other countries realise their potential, and being acused of forcing our beliefs on them. I'm almost to the point of being an "Isolationist".
Hey muggs, I don't think there's anything wrong with you. That was really a comment to myself I guess. Your cool, if that's you. Just keep on keepin on man. Happy birthday! I think I already told you that, but everyone of them is a "blessing",
My name is Michael, like the Arch Angle that fought the dragon in Revelation. I was normal until '78. From then until '81 I was a Corpsman with various "groups" spreading the good news of democracy and expanding the U.S. of A.'s foreign policies abroad. I have been with alot of "heart breakers and life takers." This time in my life has totally screwed my views and stances to most all of yours. I have spent the last 23 yrs saving lives, I guess in my wa
Happy birthday Muggaz, I enjoy reading your posts. May you have many more. Capt.
Brad, I tried to say much the same thing weeks ago on Wisefawn's famous "homeless" post, but was really jumped on for it. I couldn't say it as eloquintly as you did. I agree. I see the poor and the losers everyday in my field. I try to personally help those I feel are deserving, and was even jumped for that. The losers, you can't help. I was labeled a "callous, heartless, bastard", for feeling that way, a possition in life I
Liberals claim President Bush shouldn't have started this war. They > > complain about his > > prosecution of it. One liberal recently claimed Bush was the worst > > president in US history. > > > > Let's clear up one point: > > We didn't start the war on terror. TRY to remember, it was started by > > terrorists on 9/11. > > Let's look at the "worst" president and mismanagement claims. > > FDR led us into World War II. Germany never attacked us: Japan did
The area in which we’re raised, the parents or parent that raised us, the people we’re raised around, all have a direct impact on our core beliefs. As we get older, our educations, our jobs, the people that we work around and grow to respect, have the same impact. The things we see on a day to day basis give us the opportunity to try those beliefs against what we experience. Although I don’t believe that they have a great impact on our core beliefs. We often find reasons to still justif
Wahkonta, and I mean this as a compliment. You need to be writing books, you could give John Grisham a run for his money. WOW
The Wedding is not, the Marriage. Take it from me, if your parents or the grooms get together and offer you the same that was offered us. "We'll give you the money we would spend so you can have a good start". TAKE IT! I'm still married, 19yrs. But we started with zilch. The Wedding? We have a video. The cake top. Not much else. A lot of pressure for a few days if you ask me. It will try you enough to see if you still want to be together. If the families have enough dispoable income, go for it.
Ok, from the little guy, who just happens to have made it to management and owns his own buisness. DON'T GIVE UP, keep following your dream and goals. It starts slow, but when it hits, as smart as you appear to me, I hope you have your seat belt on. Keep a good work ethic. As a supervisor I like good workers that show interest in their jobs but when they get to the point where even I think I'm holding them back I tell them to start
Foolhandy, I might be simplifying here but, I had to check my atlas to make sure, Priminister Blair might have been right saying "imminent threat" for ya'll, he may soon have been able to chunk a rock far enough to hit you on the playground but not us in the USA. We are allies still aren't we? Brad, I'm not trolling.
The point is, it was never created by this country, it was created by religion, and the nation cannot regulate personal freedom based on religion A question- the State (government) made a law recognizing same sex marriages. Marriage was defined by religion(church) as the union beween a man and a woman
E. Macy, you can't hurt my feelings, like you say I don't even know you. I was just yanking your chain, because I thought that the names you used to describe someone that made the comments I made on the homeless blog, were a little extreme. That would indicate to me you were easily riled up. Your last two post here, prove me out. There was no need for you to apologize. Lets move on. <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" a
Oh, I see, then hell, like I said before except double this time, Blog on Blog on
I agree with what you all have said. It comes back to voting for the "best of two evils". Which in this election appears not to be much choice. But when you mention voting for someone like "Billy Jack", because you can't quite bring yourself to vote for Bush, you get, " your just thowing you vote away, you might as well be voting for the Democrats." I don't know what the answer is. I do know that the more educated you are when it comes to the
Outstanding information, Brad. The site is great, and getting better. Keep up the good work.
