How is it that the farmner didn't notice the horse had gotten out? Did he think it was funny or something? I'm guessing he didn't call you until morning because he didn't notice until then. Hope you won't incur bet bill from the injuries.

Just to make sure, that definition of wit came from the web, dictionary.com which I linked to. I didn't write it.
They tend to worry too much about "what's fair" rather than what's right IMO. This is an interesting statement. I suppose that I can think of examples of when "right" is more important than "fair" but in inter-relations, I think resolutions based on finding what both (all?) parties find to be fair are
I'm wondering if we don't often confuse with with sarcasm? I looked up this definition from Link http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/wit "Synonyms: wit, 1humor, repartee, sarcasm, irony These nouns denote forms of expression that elicit amusement or laughter. Wit implies intellectual keenness and the ability to perceive and express in a diverting way analogies betwee
TEX, thanks. In my personal experience, my relationship was fragile and conflicted (although I didn't realize it, idealist that I was) until I finally learned to love my husband as he is, and not as he could be or as I thought he should be. That's a lesson I learned the hard way. Ouch! I
Stubby said something interesting about women not knowing what they want. Actually, I think that is true for both sexes. Men are just as guilty. Case in point, the example FS used in her article. What most people want is an archetype but then get baffled when that archetype turns out to be a real person with great complexities, complications and contradictions. (how's THAT for alliteration?) I truly believe that most of us build up our ima
Can I claim to be that then??? I think you should definitely claim to be that! Cheers!
I like that part about the guy wanting unconditional love like his mother gave him. Um..... did SHE never have PMS? Give that boy a smack with the tuna to shake him out of his little timewarp into boyhood and not getting all that adult crap floating around but not penetrating his little kid brain. And another little thing about his whinging about unconditonal love... don't you actually have to GIVE love to get love? Hence, wouldn't HE have
fiesty does not equal sarcasm I like a bit of sarcasm in my dealings with people, but not from strangers and it is easy to overdose. I have a cousin who thinks she is being sarcastically funny about a lot of stuff and she really comes across as narrow-minded, bitter, and full of hate. I don't know if she has the sarcasm gene or some scary mutation of it. I have come up with a saying about sarcasm-- sarcasm is a fine scalpel which
DON'T do it for $200! At least $400 and better off charging $100 like QOD suggested. Ok, then again, I am a wimp when it comes to charging people $$$ but like Whip said, charge enough so that the whole thing doesn't make it a hardship for ya. Best of luck, though.
It will be sad, but also nice to remember her. When my husband's mom passed we somehow ended up with five pairs of her shoes. They were way to large for anyone we knew and we kept them for about three years before we finally acknowledged that we didn't need those shoes. But it was about two years that we didn't even talk about them being there. It's weird how we hang on to things. Anyhow, (((((((hugs)))))))).
My blog is for me to pick on others. I love it! Rock on Dev!
God I must be old old old, I married for love.... how retro of me. retro is in now, MM. You are quite the fashion statement. Don't know about next year, though.
Great pics, cute boys. When I saw the colon shot, before I scrolled down to the caption, I was thinking, "What is that thing? It looks like a... no it can't be! A..." then I scrolled down and saw that it was indeed a colon. That looks like it would have been a really fun exhibit. PS Your belly looks great.
She is truly a beautiful baby! (and this is coming from someone who usually thinks newborns look like potato people for a couple of weeks)
Sorry that things aren't looking so rosy....(sorry if that is understatement) but at least you learned how to play cribbage! I love that game! Zoomba, you just don't know what you're on about. I hope things work out better for you. Re the people blantantly ignoring you thing... you are better off not having to deal with that.
Is this inspired by that pity article written by that woman who was whining about school and her boyfriend? I had to laugh at that one. I like your article way better. Sometimes we all need to whinge, but I love articles where people keep on trying. Yay you! BTW, the fact you burned your eyes really freaks me out. Eye injuries freak me the most. Were you able to regain your all your vision?
There is a big difference between 18 and 23. That's 5 years of really learning about life and taking one's lumps. More than likely you two are in really different places. Don't take this wrong, but I have more respect for the guy if he doesn't call you back. I did the dating the older guy thing, and looking back on it, I think it was less a reflection of how "mature" I was than they guy needed to grow up. Maybe your case is diffe
he looks like a russian blue. Very cute cat.
Thanks for the advice folks. Eric do a google search for "HTML website tutorials . I think that is good advice (and Robert I've looked at htmlgoodies but you're right, it's a good site) and other online tutorials. I seem to do better when I have a book. I don't know why. I've gotten burne
I've been looking at a lot of books to learn how to make a web page. The Dummies guides aren't preferred because they are two years old now. Basically, I am going to use GoDaddy.com because it will be convenient and to start with, I will use those tools. Getting something like dreamweaver is out of the question because of budgetary concerns. I tried geo ci
D... I thought you knew! Tattoos are contagious! I caught mine from you 18 years ago. Sheesh. Does yours say, "pot rules" or "go satan" or something like that? Somehow I really doubt it. I feel sorry for A. But that lady is kinda strange. "I heard you bought make up?" Didn't her daughter actually tell her on the phone? She makes it seem like it was the biggest rumor on the base. psssttt.... did you hear? A bou
I swear, some people need to get a life. I'm always surprised the lengths some people will go to stick it to someone. Sheesh. Don't those people have anything creative to do? But, yeah. If what you blog about it going to make problems with family, friends or work, then maybe the the writing should be kept private. People can get upset with things that become public. In Japan 2 years ago, a girl in grade 5 or six killed her
