It's really interesting to me that you have gotten into this hobby. Recently, I've watched a few programs on bee keeping. One was a documentary about a Chinese farmer and his son who took their hives over 1000 miles to some mountains near the Himilayas/Mongolia (I forget the Kanji) so that they could collect honey from that place. That area is a famous honey producing area. It has many flowers and herbs that are used in Chinese medicine so people u

All I can say is, "Woah!" I feel for you. I also think it's not useful for people to give you criticism and then not have advice on how to work on it. Actually, I'm understating how I feel about that. Good luck, though.

Rowling's comment is really interesting. I've taught Macbeth for a couple of year at high school. It's my favorite play by Shakespeare. I think it's relevant today for students because it gives them a chance to examine ideas of free will, temptation and downfall. Really like how Rowling connected to it. I will definitely remember that if I have another chance to teach Macbeth again. Thanks for the quotation.

Some neat ideas. Looks like it will be a huge paper. :O i was thinking of some stuff when I was reading your notes. I don't know if it will help or not but I LOVE brainstorming so I couldn't resist! Re: Importance of Choices I just finished reading Half Blood Prince. There is a section before Dumbledore and Harry go to search for Horcruxes where they are discussing how Voldemort and Harry are different even though the pr

I understand that it's hard to let go when you've been in love with someone. But he treated you badly. You should NOT feel like a bitch because you don't want to sign up for more heartache with him. You can feel sad, sorry, regretful. But feeling like a bitch for it? Just not allowed, hun. A lot of people who want to abuse us (consciously or subconsciously) thrive on the kind of self talk or belief that we will be bitchy for refusing to be treated like a dishtowel or not looking af

Zoo-- Maybe they are. I dunno. These things seem to go in spurts for me. I'd like to think it's some spirits and not me. It would be nice if they would spirit a winning lotto ticket into my bag. I'd probably get accused of stealing. Maybe just better to let it all alone. I'm still gonna blame it all on Family Mart!!!!!!!!!

Lately I've been losing a lot of things. Usually, I just misplace things in the house. I pick something up while thinking of something else, get distracted and bingo, gonzo! This time, I've lost things outside the house. Big deal things. Like my house keys. I was at a convenience store using a ATM and was searching through my bag for my wallet. It turns

Possessing a rare combination of wisdom and humility, while serenely dominating your environment you selflessly use your powers to care for others. Even the smallest person can change the course of the future. I like the part about serene domination! The humility part... ummm. The wisdom? Ha ahahahahah. Call me G-Girl! Oh, wa

I would hazard a guess that you haven't had a really good tomato. As a kid we always got our tomatoes from the grocery store. Generally, they were woody and tasteless. My grandparents' garden didn't make amazing tomatoes either. They were very acidic. Lately, I've had some amazing tomatoes and for the first time realized why people called tomatoes a fruit (other than the obvious that they have seeds, but I'm not talking botany. I'm talki

I went to the hot stone spa at my gym today. It's not one of those Spa Treatment experiences (I capitalize this because I have a friend who manages one of those kind of spas) where someone puts warm stones and essential oil or something on you for the jolly price of fifty dollars or more. The hot stone spa here is more like a sauna but instead of cedar benches there

you also can't remember what pain feels like. My dad says that the ability to forget is one of the greatest gifts of the human brain. It's not such a great gift when you're trying to study something, but people need the ability to forget. Somethings, emotional as well as physical, need to be forgotte

Or you could start with something like this "Before I go postal on your ass, you need to stop interrupting people." Or maybe you don't want to go that route.

Not that this applies to your situation, but I also hate it when I'm at work and I need to ask someone a question about work and I wait patiently for the people to finish their conversation about NOTHING and they just keep on blab, blab, blabbing. If it's work related, fair deal, but when it's not I really hate waiting.

My favorite movie was the third one. I thought that director was fabulous. The fourth movie didn't really do it for me. The first one was really annoying. I blame Christopher Columbus the director for that. I enjoyed the way they made Hogwarts appear but... I dunno. Something was off for me.

You should check out "The Leaky Cauldron" podcast if you haven't already. Harry as a horcrux... interesting. I'll have to reread about horcruxes. I think my Harry Potter books are in Canada, though. Hmmm... a use for used bookstore cupons? Love is probably the key, but I'll be a bit disappointed if it is that simplistic. If it's love, I hope there is some major twist to that theme. Will Harry die? Hunh. I have a theory.

momijiki: Wow at your friend. She is the toughest woman I know. IBy hanging out with her, 've ended up doing some stuff when I was younger that was pretty out of my league fitness-wise. She was a cross country skier and went to world juniors' and I would train with her sometimes but I was nowhere nea

Pain varies so much from what a person can stand. I had a friend whose shin muscle outgrew her muscle sheath. We were doing cross country running in college but she kept running even though her shins hurt. After a race she'd have all these bumps on her shin and some people tried to tell her they were mosquito bites. She kept running until she finally found a doctor who figured out she needed to have a surgery. I would have been begging off

if you're going to go to the effort of writing and recording a song then.... make a pancake, make a pancake, make make a pancake from Atlanta to the Great Lakes...

The rake dancing was funny and breaking the egg on the cabinet and the very end when he has his bedside pancake. Wasn't much for the song, but I can tell that it's going to be one of those songs that I don't like much but can't get out of my head.n Gah! make make a pancake
