noob questions - military and other in Galactic Civilizations III GalCiv3 Forums

LOVING the game so far. I have a couple of noob questions... 1. How do you find out abut another race's technology to determine how to counteract it militarily 2. Is there something similar to what was in GalCiv 2 related to spying on other races? 3. Is there a good guide out there somewhere for military strategy, and what types of weapons offset other shields/weapons? Thanks in advance.

How to Register GalCiv II Uptimate with Game Stop App in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I purchased Gal Civ II Ultimate from the store, and so have a product key. When I load the game and click on the 'Update' feature, it goes to Gamestop App, and it says there is an update available. When I try to download the update, it tells my I need to register the game with the GameStop app... How do I do that? Thanks,
