I think the international trading, if they have a resource you need or you have a resource they need should be automatic. Rather than trade deals be based on specific resources, just have a deal which agrees trading or not. Obviously, merchants and trading guilds will then do that. Sort of like in GalCiv2, where it is the "private" companies doing the actual trading, we just take a slice of the tariff. In this case, we're taking the benefit of the resource without having to specifical

@Kestrel I thought he didn't want to use it. Hence the desire for a 100% refund. @TenetGW When you have technical issues, report it through the correct channels, get the acknowledgement and then wait. Continually harping on about it and calling Stardock a disgrace for not fixing it is beyond a joke. Yeah, it'd be great if they could just wave a magic wand. Some of the points is here a surprise some more h

I've been talking on IRC and I grow stronger in supporting 1 again. But I still think if we can control the number of resources that actually exist in our games, as I expect we would given how you want us to mod it and create our own worlds/lore/game then really, 1 isn't that big of a deal. Sure, it is a lot of work for you to get it right, but think of the satisfaction afterwards of just how much more flexible you've made the game. I don't think
That said, I do beleive there's a better middle ground, but I fear setting up a system to even Macro-manage a mostly automated 110 resource system is going to be hellacious. And as much as it sounds proper, I really dont want to implement something one way and 'dumb it down' later....let's try to get it as correct as possible the first time through.
Hey, mister! That is why your game is already a tad more expensive than usual. You get that hellacious

I like camp 1. I'm also a fan of simplified but I don't think it should go as simple as camp 2, so I am saying Camp 1 - which I assume will be scaleable in how we choose how many resources we want active in our games. For example, my mod I am not thinking of silly magics so I can remove resources like mana crystals or whatever have you. Best option would be to provide both with the scaleability thing I mentioned

1. Give me a coupon for 50% off Elemental, instead of Demigod. 2. Convince the creator of King of Dragon Pass that selling his game on Impulse IS technically feasible. He's a Mac person I think, they are crazy in the head. 3. Expand payment options. If you're going to localise currencies, provide local payment options as well. 4. Get that upgrade page up so I can get my Demigod CE goodies. 5. Join Team

If there will be indepth documentation to help noobs like me in wanting to make certain changes, I'm in love. I just hope there are tools/programs to help do some of the tedious, easy stuff very quickly. Even making minor changes to civ4 required sifting through on my notepad, which became an absolute bore.

I'm getting a flashback of CounterStrike's "Dynamic Weapon Pricing". I think all but the most popular items ended up super cheap. Granted, the items in DG are all of varying effects but I wonders about certain powerful items becoming cheaper than they should - or even cheap low-effective items becoming out of reach. Also, I feel what a DG buys is already changing dependant on who the opponents are and how they are built. I've never bought the same things for my

It seems this swine flu virus is about to get even worse for us all . There has been a small outbreak of “zombism” in London due to mutation of the H1N1 virus into new strain: H1Z1. I for one am starting to stock up on pills and molotovs. I expect you all to do the same!

I got this as well. The info box also displayed roughly 12 players attempting to connect with each other in a custom game lobby. There might have been more, I'm not sure since I the info box went bigger than my Demigod window. Here is the error log:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at address 0x02a8d4ef attempted to read memory at 0x13776000 Program : D:\Program Files\Demigod\bin\Demigod.exe</p
