New Page 1 It's Monday in the big town. Kidding. Where I live... not that big. I'm experimenting with web page editor. For a couple of reasons.

"Thought you could make use of this....a few people had asked me how to do some better stuff in their blog. Namely I saw that you included a web site in this post. This article shows how to make it a link and some other stuff." Thanks Jeremy! The 411 will be quite useful. I'm not that good at HTML, I try...but it ends up scattered. So I stopped trying. Maybe I'll give it another whirl. And thank you Jamie! I went to Montreal years and years ago. Maybe now that I'm old enough t
Ah the DMV. Such a joyus place! And note the sarcasm on that! Glad you survived unharmed and sane. Try to enjoy the rest of your time off.
I realize you wrote this some time ago. Don't feel bad. Everyone does silly things. Whenever I am "lost", I just tell myself, "It's all for future reference." I am horrible with directions...North, South...etc. I find that landmarks are very helpful. I don't know what type you have where you are. Perhaps a house that has colorful roof, or place of business...or the sign that just a bit bent. Little things. Anything really, to help you.
No one mentioned Jen and Ben or Bennifer!? Oy to the vey!
Alright. Monday evening. CSI Miami is on. But...the man...Whose name I can not recall right now..He has a strange acting style. I like the regular CSI best. William Peterson, far more entertaining. Maybe they just give him better scripts. I just returned home. Boyfriend took me to the movies. We saw Paycheck. I tried conning him into Mona Lisa Smile...but no dice. Paycheck was not bad. You didn't realize 2 hours went by. It keeps you in the story. Very little lag...well thought out. I
Thanks everybody!
I agree with Changeling also. The government's anal retentive. You'd have to find a different way. At any rate. I'd change nothing. I might buy stock or at the very least, a lottery ticket. But the events of the past decade, although some were horrible, they were necessary changes. Human evolution in behavior and the like. I may night like everything about the world today. I personally think we're all going to kill each other over something stupid....note: The Middle East has been trying for
"PACKERS MADE THE PLAYOFFS, brett favre's dad died, PACKERS MADE THE PLAYOFFS and saddam was captured I LIVE IN A FUCKING GREAT WORLD" Hear Hear!!!! Vince called...he wants his damn trophey back! Side bar for a sec...Brett's dad passing...very sad. I know. Our parents have to die someday. It's always tramatic. Think of the pressure on Brett now. He has zero time to grieve. Great times/bad times. He gets both. All at once. He seems to be doing well, under the cond
We'll be reading right along with your adventures. Besides..it's helpful to vent. You don't wanna wind up on the Post Office picking off Girl Scouts. :) Smile and hang in. Ali-The Misfit Chick
"They got me. They got me doing it now. I hid further underneath the blankets, and shivered at the thought of it. I live in California now." Hang tough, Frankie! I lived in Northern CA for a while. They're a bit more sedate than southern CA, but not by much. My friend lives in San Diego now...she's trying to con me into moving there with her. I'm resisting for the very reason you just illustrated. Those people are insane! Ali-The Misfit Chick An upstate NY resident who
It would be nice to keep your favorite writers in one spot.
" Men, I don't really see the need to do out eyebrows. If you have just one and it makes you uncomfortable, by all means, divide and conquer! " I was with you right till then. Please, guys. It's not girly to take an interest in your looks. Mono-brows are just....eeesh. Go. Wax. It changes the entire look of your face. And quit being babies...waxing doesn't hurt THAT much. Sorry had to add my two bits. Ali-The Misfit Chick
A bathroom cd player, huh? I will make a note not to get one. Andy Warhol did many drugs. Imcomprehensible would be normal for him. He was a great artist though. So the ProActiv thing doesn't work? I will tell friend who was thinking of doing it. I don't know what Hitman or Diggles is. But I do love the SIMS. I don't get to play much. It's a game I only allow myself to play when I have oodles of time. Oooh, mini voice recorder. I want one of those! Same reason you had. Paper a
Above title a reaction to the surprise that someones reading. Really. You'll find I'm boring. And ...no one listens to me. :) Ah...Sunday. When it's not the holiday, it's one of my few days off. So, I naturally enjoy Sunday. Football, getting some music sorted. (I'll explain in a bit) Cleaning my office so I can find stuff. Riddle me this...why is it, that when you clean, it alway looks worse then when you started in the middle. But by the time you're done it looks great...then you don
Thanks Joe! I appreciate the welcome.
Reply By: OccultPizza Posted: Friday, December 26, 2003 Heehee let your dad be happy. He'll figure out he's going through a mid life crises at some point ~smiles~ I think he might. I mean, you hear of guys doing these things, but it's always someone else. My luck, I have a Jerry Springer family! Thanks for the comments. Ali The Misfit Chick
I'm here too. For what it's worth. Happy Holiday! Ali---The Misfit Chick
Ya know, it never ceases to amaze me. Bring up God and all of a sudden people are ready to battle over it. If you believe. Great. If you don't. Great. The fun thing about the whole thing is this....No one is 100% right. You can have your theories, you can debate your point. But in the end, the only person we really have to answer to is that person staring back at you in the mirror. If you can live with that person. Fantastic. If you can't, you have no one or thing or being to blame, but
Ah, we're past the welcome screen. And so it begins. My name is Ali. It's short for Alicia. My dad calls me Lisa. Has since I was 2. Don't know why. I still answer to it. I answer to just about anything most of the time. I also bartend, as well as DJ. So "Hey you" "Beertender" and other such things I've grown used to. I just turned 32. A week before Christmas. And if you think that didn't suck growing up, you're wrong. I totally sympathize with anyone whose been unfortunate en
Well, the maiden voyage of my blog. I've never done this sort of thing, there's bound to be mistakes. Hell, I'm human, mistakes are a given. So..it's Christmas day. I'm already hibernating in my office. My boyfriend's son is here. He's 12. And I think he's spoiled. So I'm here. In my office. Door shut. Happy. There will be more rambling to follow. Don't expect rocket science. You'll be disappointed. Till next time. Ali The Misfit Chick <
