Using it now. Took some getting used to. I like it. It was necessary to create shortcuts and icons rather than pin to or drag to. A little more work to set up than the start screen but it is something I can appreciate. If you drag a tile to it or select a listed app or listed shortcut, Launch8 may not get the icon correctly. I would post a screenshot but there is no way to upload an image on this forum. You have to post to "you tube" or other... <

Hello. ... don't know if possible, to Stardock techs > Will Deskscapes be coded to work with Decor8 when Decor8 is set to run desktop wallpaper. In other words, if Deskscapes is running animated wallpapers on the desktop, will it be compatible with Decor8 set to view desktop wallpapers on the start screen? Will Decor8 be able to run Deskscapes animated wallpapers? Perhaps this could be made possible later on ok ok. thanks. Just a thought. </p

Hello. No VirtualBox. Just a basic install of 8.1 Preview on an ssd. No dual booting. Currently have gone back to Windows 8.0 because of other beta issues with new features in 8.1 such as the annoying "new" install highlights that remain permanent and graphics resolutions that vary on different monitors and zoom factors that are always changing. Deskscapes 8.09 freeze in Deskscapes Beta Stardock Forums

There is (in my experience) still a bug if the Deskcapes beta 8.09 running animations, is set to wallpaper of the start screen and all apps area by way of the charms. In Windows 8.1 Preview, there is an option in the charms to set the desktop wallpaper as a background for the start screen and all apps area. This creates an issue with Deskscapes beta 8.09.
