Quick update - since the latest Windows update of yesterday, i can happily report that groupy is fully functional again - all opening fine and i can even save groups again (not just savesas with save greyed out).

it's the most recent MS update opening, but not grouping explorer folders on onedrive, even though it'll open and group excel doc on onedrive...
Have we found a solution as yet? Groupy is still not grouping folders. I've changed my UAP settings (advice from a different post/thread) but it has made no difference. I suspect it needed changing prior to the reinstall, but i'm hesitant to reinstall given the problems associated withy simply registering Groupy during the install process...
What are your UAC settings set to?
for me, i had UAC set to never notify (though i don't ever recall setting it to that). I've now set it back to default, but Groupy still isn't grouping, so i assume i'll have to either 1) reinstall now the UAC settings have been reset or 2) wait for another windows update when they might fix it?
sounds like the same issue i'm facing, albeit folders on OneDrive not Dropbox, following the latest windows update. I suspect more people will encounter this issue, moving forward.

Ok, some progress to report - I now have Groupy 2 activated! Sadly, there are still problems, as Groupy2’s still not working as it should. Having tested it to see what’s going awry, I&rsquo
more info: i disconnected from the web, managed to create a Grooupy2.req file, went to https://activate.stardock.com/ uploaded it and obtained a Groupy2.resp file, copied back to my PC but then got yet another error:
Hi Basj yep, i'm using the current and correct activation key - matches the one emailed to me and the one detailed in my account, but still getting the 212 error. I even registered it through my account, activated through my account and can see the PCs it's activated/registered on, which includes my PC, but still it's not letting me past the activation screen. I've uninstalled and reinstalled again, rebooting each time, but still no joy. Been at it for over an hour no
Hi Basj i've uninstalled, rebooted, reinstalled and rebooted but sadly i'm now not able to activate it with my activation key, despite having the current keys emailled to me, activating it through my account etc. I've even attempted to activate the 30 day trial, just to get Groupy 2 going to see if it's working ok - all with no joy (even though i got the message saying the trial had been activated). Getting an error code at activation - 212 - so i followed the instructions
I had a windows update this afternoon - 2026-06 Security Update (KB5094126) (26200.8655) and on reboot, groupy no longer opens in groups. All was working fine before the windows update - if i opened a previously saved group of (for example) 8 folders, 8 folders would open, grouped just as i'd saved them. After the update, if i open the same previously saved group of 8 folders, 8 folders would open separately, not grouped, requiring re-grouping (and it doesn't seem to snap
