Just installed the latest version and, as with the previous one, all icons on the Start Menu associated with MS revert to the default icon of the skin; in this case Diamond. Reverted to the last one known to work! Running XP Pro SP3 with 2Gb of RAM.

I was most disappointed to find that as I went to purchase "Winter Wonderland", the store displayed a price of $6.95 which translated to £9.99! Now unless someone has got the exchange rate inverted, I am not prepared to pay a one-to-one conversion.
The only way I could get Diamond to work without fuzziness or pink and black parts to the skin was to uninstall WB, reboot and install WB again!
As this seems to be our "private" forum, I forgot to mention that I run XP Pro SP3. I am keeping my fingers crossed that an uninstall of WB 6.2, a clearout of redundant directories, a re-install with various hiccups with transferring skins and getting a message of reaching the maximum number of validations, may have solved the menu issue. Two re-boots and no black menus so far.
My specific problem centred around MS Office icons on the Start Menu. These reverted to default icons of whatever package I was running and some of the Desktop Icons. Although I could change these to my preference, they would not stick. Upon re-booting, it was back to square one. Whether it was due to the fact that I run IconX as well, but 3.99.149 works and, for the moment, I am sticking to it.
The only way I could "cure" similar problems was to restore to IP 3.99.149 via SDC. I couldn't help but notice that you seem to be running Diamond in one of your screenshots. I have had problems with this skin and the painting of its menus and using the right click button. It is random, but more often than not, I have to apply changes via WB configuration to eliminate this feature.
But we continue to support SDC for those who insist on continuing to use it for now. Oh, OK....I'll pretend I'm not still using SDC....
It looks like, after a successful install with ??? after a rather unsuccessful one with ???????, I shall have to take my place at the wicket with an Australian.
Like #38, i thought I would give Impulse a go. Perpetual loop of re-booting, gave up and restored via SDC. I think this update will go the way of IP4 until I can be assured that it works on both versions.
If you archived using SDC you can. That is what I did and everything is working perfect in IP now. I will not update again until everthing is fixed.
I'm with you on this one!
Because, because, because.
I don't ever want to know why Australians have inflatable kangaroos...
It is brcause they don't have any prop forwards!!!!!
I shall wait a little while before opting for 4.00.###. 163 & 164 still lost MS Office icons amongst others and I won't waste time with 165 until I am sure it will work.
Had to go back to 3.99.149 as some icons within the system; mainly MS Office icons, IE on the menu and various others FF2, HP update, CursorXP reverted to the default icon in the MyColors package. I was unable to change them, or get a change to stick and I have grown accustomed to them over the years. Running XP Pro SP3.
I've got up to 3.99.149 on SDC using SP3 even after updating XML and switching servers.
Neither do I, but it does seem a transient problem as I have had the same problem in recent weeks.
Why do I get adverts in this post and in the reply?
Mebion: That looks like a very old version of MS Money. The window was excluded due to newer versions of MS Money having a custom skinned titlebar on that window.
It may well be, but so is Office 2003 which I also use. After 2004, Money got a bad press here in the UK with stories via customer feedback of compatibility issues with IE7. All I want to know is where in the sequence was this change made? I have rolled back to a 6

My question is why and when was this feature taken out by design?
Fixed for you [imageshack being a little flakey - best I could do]
Many thanks! It does seem a little flaky at the moment. I have restored an archive - 6.00.005 and MS Money is skinned. Trying to upload a screenshot at the moment, but things are slow and am getting "Gateway Time Out"
Here is the first attempt at inserting a picture of MS Money using WB 6.02 . Given up. I am away for the weekend in a moment and given the pressure of time, can't solve the method of displaying the image in a post. Back sometime Monday.
MS money main window is excluded by design. It does not have a skinnable titlebar.
It used to have and there have been fleeting glimpses of it without the maximize button.
Because I do not want to exclude it. It is only the main window that is affected: call outs are skinned. How do I post a screenshot onto the forum?
I have submitted a ticket for this type of issue, but it only appears to affect MS Money. The last version that did not seem to affect this program was 6.00, I think! I may well restore an archive. This is for XP SP2.
The only obvious mention of "premium", relates to the Quest suite, but if you tick the "Show pre-release versions" box, the Turbo skin should show.
XP SP2. The same thing has happened with Adrenaline, but I have been unsuccessful in getting an image in this posting. The WC way produces a "classic" look without the "min max delete buttons" at the top of the active window. It is not a big deal as visiting the gallery and using the download button is quite successful in each case. I suspect it is something to do with the fact that up to now I have kept things in D:\Program Files\Stardock\WinCustomize\SkinBrowser\Download and
