Every game that has a PC and console port gets its interface dumbed down. No thanks.

In Soviet Russia, you smoke the weed.
Then maybe you should try playing a TB so you can figure out what he's doing.
Given the improvements from Day -1 to Day 6, I'd say they've been doing pretty well.

Emphasis on the word "from", notice that it isnt "made by". Quoting Remzy1, reply 4'nuff said.
L2Realize you are not the center of the world. The post is in response to the OP. 'nuff said.
If anything, the current state of skirmish and pantheon (bot heaven) means that those are the games where you learn nothing.
This game wasn't made by Stardock. 'nuff said.
Might help if you said what skills he was using, or even the element. Life steal + fast attacks could also make it feel like you do no damage.
I think that's the point. Full-strength demigods with insane numbers of creeps. It's probably like playing one of those Koei games.
Quoting Vid-szhite, reply 6 Quoting BulletMagnet, reply 1 SupCom started with woeful connectivity too; it got better with time. i'm sure every fricken P2P application (game, or not) goes through this. It was NEVER this bad. Not even close IIRC. SupCom nowadays has fantastic connectivity compared to Demigod. No waiting 15 minutes to get into a lobby, either. And yes, ports were
This issue is irrelevant to P2P. It's relevant to crappy connections and low tolerance. What, you've never been on dedicated servers with ping requirements? Read the weekend status.
The servers died about an hour ago.
Well the main server appears to be dead for everyone since nobody can host. Something about a CVP error and you also get disconnected from the NAT facilitator when you try to host.
How much damage were you taking?
What the heck is Nightsb4ne still going on about. You can have 8 towers up no problem.
I think the server's about to die right now. Was fine earlier and then boom suddenly nobody on Vent can do anything online.
Might as well play a one-man slaughter game.
I like George Takei's response to another homophobe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4s1iQODC5OI
They're addressing the in-game drops already. As long as your ports are properly forwarded, you can probably play properly now. Spent 1-2 hours trying to get the game working with 3 other people like 3 days ago with no success (one person simply had unresolvable issues). Yesterday, they were doing 3v3s easily (including that person).
It's agreed that DOTA has the one of the worst communities ever. A lot of DOTA players naturally are interested in this game. You probably had a DOTA player for your teammate. :P
As a Rook, I don't fight demigods, I destroy your towers. All my damage is automatic, so I don't even need to look at you. Then I teleport out and rinse and repeat until I get to your citadel. :D
Sedna's "AOE" is via Yetis and the Wide Swing skill.
Even Dawn of War 2 has problems. They just have a bigger grace period. But even that can drop very quickly, especially since you can often lose 5s of your 15s grace period at the start of the match.
It might be nice to use DoW2's system. Don't automatically kick laggy players. Give an option to the rest of the players whether or not to keep them or kick them. And it doesn't happen the first time either. Every player gets a 15s total grace period that gets deducted each time they lag the game, and only when it reaches 0 does the kick window show up.
I pin victory at the exact moment a team gets catapults. Until that point, it's anyones game. Demigod's themselves do not carry enough sway to decide a victory earlier, other then just dominating flag control of course, or whatever your game mode may be. Obviously there are exceptions, like one team just relentlessly beats down the other early on.
I disagree. If one team has a Rook, catapaults are not necessary. :D <p
