after you uninstall the german version from your computer, start stardock central. 'galactic civilizations' will not appear in the software window and you mast register it manualy (from Tools/Register Products). Now the game will appear in the 'Games' list and if you click on it you will see an 'Install' button on the right of the game's name. that's it! i hope i was in any help to you. mach's gut!;)

i bought the german version of the game on cd. i guess the cd wasn't good because i had problems reading it and i had to copy the entire cd on my hdd befor installing it(for about 50 minutes, although my cd is very good and i had no such problems with it untill now). that is not all: it happens very often that the game exits without any warrning after i press the 'turn'-button. i really like the game but it is getting annoying to load the autosave every 10 min or so! if anyone has an ide
