Actually our active membership is down to
But we are still the most active empire with 10 active members posting games so far this month and 18 last month, with most of the other empires down to 2 or 3 at most. [Message Edited]

But, as someone said earlier, I think it was ED, we could lose all our active members and the Guardians would still be 10M ahead of everyone else.
An active discussion in the open forum, wow! A while back you asked what SA stood for and I am surprised that Newfy didn't tell you. It stands for "Snacks Annomous" - which is where Guardians go that have been "snacked" on by damoose and other undead Canucks :D LOL :D
There are plenty of heroes and villains around, but there aren't enough people who need to be rescued.
Well, we have SA that meets every Friday at snack time at the crypt. :D :D LOL :D LOL
I imagine the job of a trader is to get picked on by pirates and then rescued by galactic guardians.
:D LOL :D LOL :D :HOT:
I would however be interested in an empire that would try to take on the Guardians.

Who knows maybe, Matthew Downie is talking about branching of trying to build a team to overthrow the Guardians it maybe fun
Why all this animosity towards the fun loving Guardians. We are not the reason for anyone to form an empire. If you have no internal goal or loyalty, then I predict that your empire efforts will not succeed the way you would like. If you ga
Did anyone think Theoden would overtake the Special Forces when he started out?
Probably not, but then I suspect he also didn't think that he would eventually disapear. You have been around a long time and one would have to ask, will he be here for the long hall or is this just the final burst ofo glory? :p
My objective has always been to find or build an empire which had some hope of overtaking the Guardians.
Very ambitious, but doable, mainly because the old empire shrinks as you syphen off the best players.
A good (known) name is always a good point for an empire
Not necessarily equivalent, i.e. good and known :D LOL :D
:D LOL :D LOL :D
You can also pay for propaganda - go to the details on the planet page and you will see a slider in the middle where you can fund propaganda. This will help. But, basically, you have to increase the influence in the sector through events (random) starbases with influence modules, etc.
So I believe that the metaverse is recalcing regularly..
Well, there are exceptions to people suffering recalcs. Not all who should be are being recalculated. Look at Major D. He has remained static, and even advanced, for 3 months withoug a submission.
Either that or stop looking at the scanner through the bottom of empty beer mugs.
Actually, I think that they are so slow that they don't know where to point the scanner and end up point it at themselves, hence they only see themselves. :D LOL LOL LOL :D :D
I found out that the custom quests go in the exports folder as well.
Or into the saved games folder, since they all have the .sg extention. But maybe that is the extension for any Saga/quests/etc.
The score should have updated immediately. Sometimes the number of games doesn't update correctly but will with the next submission. Two games ago, my score updated, but my number games did not. The next game the score updated and the nubmer of games went up by 2. If your score didn't update and the game doesn't show, then try resubmitting the game.
What do you mean by that? I'm sorry if I've done something wrong, I don't know this stuff!! I was just giving him a join offer because I noticed that he wasn't in an empire yet!!! I'm just a stupid newb, and I'm sorry I've offened someone with my cheap attemps at something. I'll stop offering and let someone who knows more than me do all of it.
John, You weren't here when the forums became a hunting ground by the empires for new members. The recruiting was banned
Sorry, I missed that. Aldsar, read my post above. :D
NickNames seem to have disappeared in the experience window, ie., when you click on the name of the person who posted. Avatars sometime also are missing. I had to reload my avatar to get it to show up again.
AI's now DO build Terror Stars ..
J.T., they have always build TS. In earlier versions they never showed up until very late in the game, like year 2300 or some very high number. I remember the Alterians building over 8 of them in one game I had and they even moved them around to counter my culture, but they never used them as a terror bomb. Maybe the AI can't hear the Boom and don't really appreciate them like I do. :D LOL :D LOL :D LOL
Sure, if Corvette 281 gets blown up, who cares, but when WIDDLE SNOOKUMZ takes one in the face, well, that's a real tug on the heartstrings!
:D LOL :D LOL
Hmmm, I just submitted a game and my score went up but the number of games played stayed the same. Any explanations?
This is my opinion, I could be wrong.
Your opinion is never wrong. Other might not agree with it but it is still your opinion. :D
well at least their seems to be a nice community at this place. thanks for your answers guys!
We think it is the best community for an active game that has ever come together. check out the empire threads. You can find those by pushing the button on the left that says Empires.
I wish the game would leave the SBs visible (along with the resource) once you have seen them. Since the AI never builds terror stars...
If you hit F9 the will show up as + signs on the map. I think they show up when you depress one of the last two buttons on the right also, but not sure on that.
I had turned on Cheat keys
That'll do it :D LOL :D LOL
