Oh Oh, DaMoose is on the Loose.
Weyrleader
I am sure that there is going to be a lot of ongoing changes with the scoring. No one will be happy with the low socres that they are going to be getting.
They also build multiple orbital thingys that allow ships in orbit to act as a fleet. Don't know why you would need two of them.
I just attache the files to an email and send
I get it also with a 7800 SE
No one to snack on. Hmmm, DaMoose, your reputation has preceded you and they all ran for cover. I wonder if I created a custom race and named it DaMoose that that name would have the same effect on the Alienx? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/S
I had one invisable star. Did not affect the game, just no star. Planets also were habital in my case.
In Beta 3 one of the planet clusters around a sun had no sun, just a blank space in the middle. Maybe the new color coding of the starts includes a "black" start
In a recent game my population at the end of the game was over 1 Trillion people and generating 22,000 bc per turn.
When you can change governments, change to the autocratic one, the one the game starts with. No one will oppose you then.
I have the pleasure of, ahem, "working" from home today. Just got to convince my boss that the Yor are planning a sneak attack, and defence of the home planet takes priority over any other tiny, meaningless projects that he has me working on. Does this boss of yours have another opening? <img src=
Hard to keep you IQ up, e-stab, if you keep dumping your knowledge onto exam papers, right? Hope you do well.
Well, DaMoose. It looked like you fell back across the edge to post 200. Perhaps some one deleted their post and cause the resuffle. You might want to check and see if the Exaulted Druid was doing funning thinks arround the time of the Solstice.
Actually, diplomacy also helps keep them at bay. Influence is another. There are many different strategies to play the game. I often don't build any military ships at all and win a tech or cultural or political victory on gigantic galaxcie with all 9 aliens. Never have had war declared on me
Bug: Point Defense I gives you Point Defense II for free. Announcment of completion of PDI is followed immediately with completion announcment of PDII. This is repeatable.
Remember that the beta is a beta and there may be bugs that keep you from finishing a game. If you only want to play and enjoy the game, don't play the beta.
Most of the Guardians have been hanging out at the "Core" http://www.thegalacticcore.com/forum/portal.php and have joined the Diplomats, at least for now. I have my own little empire because I haven't decided yet what I want to do for an empire.
AI's thinking to much I assume. ED, there is anotheer side to that coin
I play games starting with eveyone close. None are willing to ally with you on the first turn - at least that is my experience. I don't think you have enough money on turn one to buy them all either. Perhaps if you only have one alien you might (have to try that and see). After about 5 turns ro so they have all moved from close to friendly, so it takes even more to get them to ally with you. I don't think this strategy is a viable one. If anyone
I've had two games miss the tech victory by the last tech before it flipped to a culture victory. Finally won a tech victory where I actually researched ALL the techs, not just the ones in the branch that take you to the victory. That was sweet.
BTW, can you see any medals on this thread ? I cannot, but they are there on all the other threads. I see medals on everyone but you. Have you pressed the default button by you character?
Yes, you can submit scores played with "Fast Tech"
Good morning Diplomats. Hope you all enjoy the battle of the day.
You should win your game as soon as possbile. With that big a population you would have a score of almost equal size.
I would love for this game to be available as a multiplayer, not just MMO on a server. Two or three or ... log on a local net and play the game. Will this be possible, or only you against the world?
