Can't stop the ship now. I had set it to manually move back into my territory. If I try to stop that movement by right clicking on the ship it won't allow me to do that . The message is "The destination is outside the ships range.".

Playing with 1.8 on Steam. My ships that are set to auto explore can move out of range. They can continue to auto explore out of range, but if I try to move them manually I get a message that they are out of range. Edit - I can tell them to move back into range and they will do so.

Probably suggested already but some kind of icon on the uncolonized planet list showing when you have a colony ship enroute to a planet would be helpful. It's hard to remember what planets already have colony ships enroute when you make another ship and are trying to decide where to send it.
... AI adds credits??? I've never seen that. I always pad out with credits, but never seen the AI demand it (unless it's asking for tribute). How does the conversation go?
Yeah that's what I meant. I can always demand credits from them for any "green" deal and they will pay.
Great. Let us know what you think of the new stuff.
Part way through my first game and it feels like the AI is too willing to accept a bad tech trade. I can routinely get far more than I give. Also noticed the AI will always add in credits to any deal it is willing to accept. Maybe my diplomacy is much higher than theirs. Just an initial impression obviously, and I can always turn

Yes I can log in fine on my account page, but not Stardock support for some reason. Weird. Figured out a way to open a support ticket using my email address but without actually logging in at Stardock support so we'll see if they reply.

I own each piece as a separate purchase from Stardock. All my serial numbers are registered. Can't get v2.20 to show up as a download on my account page. When I go to the support link above and enter my email and pw it says it's not valid. Tried several times and I'm certain it's correct. Stuck. Please help.

Haven't played the game in years and I'm trying to reinstall it. I own the original plus Dark Avatar and Twilight. I "assumed" if I downloaded and installed the Twilight file from my account that I'd get the whole game and it would be up to date. However after installing the Twilight download it says I am running version 1.53 of Dread Lords. Do I have to first reinstall Dread Lords, then Dark Avatar, and then Twilight to get everything? Thanks. <
Unfortunately, even with the 1.01 patch, it's extremely unstable on my Win7x64 box - and since I no longer have a Vista-32bit or Win7-32bit box, couldn't tell ya if it's just an issue with Win7x64 - I will say tha SINS, LotRO, TorchLight and other games work like a charm on that same box ... so ...
FWIW I've played over 100 turns on my Win 7 x64 system without a single crash.

No, not the cloth map. Normally you are looking at the map from an angle. I did something that put it into a top down view and can't figure out how to get back the the side angle view without quitting the game. Scrolling all the way out goes to the cloth map but this top down view is from fairly close in and does not involve mouse scroll.

Somehow I got the game into top down mode and now I can't get it out. Anyone know how to do that? Edit - You can quit the game to get out of top down mode but I'd like to know if there is any other way.
Quoting SilentScream, reply 15 Just tell me you've fixed all the random crashes and I'll be happy. We added tons of new random crashes. Rather than thinking of them as bugs, they're now documented as "random events".
ROTFLMAO
