Why is it asking me for a serial number?
Thanks for ya'lls help. I figured out the problem, though. On a hunch, I figured it may have something to do with my recent install of Nero 7, so I uninstalled it. And majically that fixed the problem. I appreciate the help all the same. And if it happens again for some other reason, I'll know what to do.
Can anybody tell me why my Sony SRU 720a DVD writer isn't showing up anymore? It tells me the device driver is loaded, but that the device is not connected, but I know it is, because I went in and unconnected it then reconnected it. Anybody got any suggestions? Windows XP pro sp2
Excellent! This one actually works this time. Oh happy day. I love all these neat new transparent skins and I've been waiting for a chance to try them out. One small hitch though... I had to manually activate it with my user name and object desktop serial number. But now it works great.
I wish I could get WB5 to work. I've tried everything I can think of and everything that I've read. The first build they put out would install, but it wouldn't change skins. With this new build, as I'm installing it from Stardock Central, stardock central crashes as soon as it reaches 99% complete. I think it's in the process of copying wblind.dll to the program folder. Anyway, it won't work. Hopefully, they cool people at stardock will get all t
I can't even apply skins. It's stuck on Classic Windows. I installed the update through Stardock Central and rebooted, and nothing. And can click all I want on "apply this skin", but nadda.
It is very helpful, thank you. I actually did figure this out, but not through windows media player support. My Norton was acting up, so I went looking around on their help sites, and found that answer. I don't know how, but those scripts got deleted or corrupted or something. Thanks for the info. For some reason unknow to me, Windows Media Player won't start up on my computer. It just gives me this message: "An internal application error has occured". I tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling, updating, and all that jazz. Nothing works. It just started doing this for no good reason. I was even using WMP a couple of days ago. I'm running Windows XP SP2 with Windows Media Player 10. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Than
That's how you get the software you paid for. Stardock Central makes it easy for you to download/install that software and keep it updated. It's a good thing.
I would personally love to see the other color variations of the Last suite. I love the pack as it is now, but the color doesn't fit extremely well with most skins and desktops, so it would be interesting to have other color choices. Cuz, ya know, your icons rock out.

That one is Tronnix. Some other skins will also do that same thing. Some won't. Kinda curious as to why.

Can anybody tell me why the info bar at the bottom of FireFox is so huge with some skins? Also, why doesn't the per application setting of 'only skin title bar' not work for FireFox? Here's a pic of what I'm talking about. The top window is IE and the bottom is FireFox. Notice the difference in info bar size. Any help and/or insight would be greatly appreciated.<
The only reason there are so many hacks aimed at IE is because most people use it. At least the less savy internet users do, along with people who just like IE better. If you're gonna spend all your time trying to comprimise a system, your not going to bother with the small potatoes, you're going to go after something with a larger audience. I was just wondering if it was possible to send Windows Media Player (I have version 10) to the system tray so that it isn't taking up real estate on my taskbar. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I already have all these things. They were released last year if I'm not mistaken. Though they weren't all in one convenient package. It's all really great and festive. Mormegil is a friggin' genius.
Love the skins, guys. It takes some getting used to when I want to close a window and what-not, but that's half the fun! They look great and they function quite well. I'll have to say that my favorites are dissident and anomaly. I even made a wallpaper for anomaly, if anybody would be interested in seeing it. Nothing special. Hmmm... I can't seem to figure out some of this new stuff. For instance, the gallery doesn't seem to include some of my stuff. Also, I can't figure out how to edit some things, such as site description and whatnot. Oh well, they're still tweaking it, so hopefully things will all work out in a week or two. I'm excited about this whole thing.
