I tried your way but failed. Before that, I tried reinstalling my Windows (I tried 7, 8 and 10) and everything repeated. The button does not work - there is no function to change the back board. I tried the older versions as well - they worked correctly several months ago .. but now it’s strange - they all do not work correctly with the background. I repeat, I reinstalled Windows many times, deleted the program using different uninstallers. nothing helps . I live in Russia .

I added exe (games and battle .net)/ to program exceptions but nothing helped. I tried to solve compatibility problems, it did not help. games do not start (you have to delete windowsblinds)

Sean Drohan , thank you so much! It works . But there is one problem . After the reboot, Windows 10 services again turn on and you need to turn it off again each time. It is not comfortable .
