Ok you have way too many answers here to look thru... but the truth of the matter is. Formating does not make recovery impossible nor does blowing your partitions. the only way to secure a hard drive is to fill it with garbage data. PGPwipe can fill your HD with garbage. It takes quite a long time to fill an HD... consider that it writes over it 3 times. after do so you can reformat to kill the garbage and your original data can not be retrieved... here is a http://w

with IE6 running on Win98 goto add/remove programs and select IE6 from the list. You will be prompted to Remove or Repair chose repair and reboot when told to do so. If this does not work I recommend you uninstall and do a full reinstall.
sounds like Internet exploder has exploded... tell me what version of windows you are running and what version of IE you have. and I will see if I can help you. If it is XP you must have Admin rights to correct.
In the same email you are sent the key you will also have a link to download the full version. the shareware version does not have a place to put the key.
I've always liked MetalX and find myself going back too it, often. I wonder if the variation you are creating should have a different colour of glass text bubble. The green and silver together worked really great but I'm not so sure about copper, bronze and green... I like the copper alot btw. <img src="http://images.st
Installing WinXP over win98 will give you new icons... Seriously tho... Icon Packager works great for changing all icons in one svelt move https://www.stardock.com/products/iconpackager/ I like to use Winboost http://www.winboost.com when I am using 98 to change one icon at a time. I think Iconpackager is your best bet.
The previous tip was for all ver. of windows this one is XP Home and Pro. Open the Registry Editor Navigate to HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\ControlPanel\Desktop. Double-click UserPreferencemask and change its value to 3E 00 00 00. Close the Registry Editor and restart Windows.
The problem with ridding yourself of tooltips is many are program indepentent. This edit will rid you of tooltips on the window buttons Min, Max and close. Create a new String value, or modify the existing value, called "MinMaxClose" and set it according to the value data below. Registry Settings User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop] Value Name: MinMaxClose Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value) Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled) Exit yo
I don't believe this method of ridding yourself of tooltips will work for everyone.. but has more to do with a conflict on your computer.
I believe what Styl really meant to say was Object Dock... cause he knows that windowblinds is not a dock... Like zoomed icons on mouse over. https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/
yep had that issue too... only with IE tho... I use Netscape or Opera to upload my dtop image.
gry in itself is a word... albeit a medevil term refering to a unit of messurment.
ahhh... good ol' JPL (Jet Propulsion Labratory) JPL is the home of Hubbles images on the net. their official stand on Hubble images or anyother images they own is. JPL Image Policy JPL images are available for use by the public free of charge. However, by electing to download images from this web site the user agrees that Caltech makes no warranties or representations with respect to its ownership of copyrights for the images, does not represent others who may claim to be
I don't understand what you mean by "shoot it yourself" in the end the moderators will either accept it or delete it. do you mean your taking a Pic of a screen with a camera?
fair enough I think the skinner should have given credit in the description. what was the name of the file the permission was in?
If the wallpaper image is not yours (you did not create it) then you can only upload it as a screen shot as long as you have covered up a good portion of the wall to prevent ppl from using the image. This is why so many screen shots have notepad and calc open... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif"
While searching for video players I came across this skins board containing some familiar images and names for that matter. Two are pixtudio works with out credit at the very lest. One looks like a grayhaze skin. http://www.bsplay.com/exp.php <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border
#33 by jebland - 6/3/2003 8:47:02 AM Why not require a user to log-in to download? A lot of sites require this. This makes perfect sense... yes, no?
That would be by SuperTramp by the way.
Indeed have a Very Happy Birthday [Message Edited]
I guess you would also have to set it up so that you had a short cut in each users startup folder pointing to the proper exe.
Although I am not 100% certain this will work with Windowblinds... To get around some issues with multiple logon profiles. Try installing the program in each profile but to a different directory. So allow one of them to use the default install path but change the other one to something like C:\Program Files\Windowblinds2 or something else creative. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" b
can you not open explorer and drag the c:drive too the objectdock to create the short cut?
