I dont have the CD I signed up online when I used to have high speed internet. Now I have dialup and my new computer does not have a modem. My current computer is actually a laptop, so I cant really switch harddrives around. I would really like object desktop on my new computer without internet. Any more suggestions??? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN=

"800x600 is still the most used screen resolution but its quickly becomming 1024x768" Actually, I did some research online, and I found that 1024x768 is the most commonly used resolution. Nevertheless, you should make your page compatible with all resolution.

I am a windows 2000 user, and I have the whole object desktop suite, and even that doesnt solve some of your problems. Explorer buttons are not skinned, taskbar is only partly skinned (unless I use object bar), and webviews, logon screens, start menu, and shutdown prompts remain the same. I'm not complaining or anything, but Im just sayin that many object desktop features will simply not work on windows 2000.

I am currently an OD subscriber. I use stardock central to download files. I have a new computer, and I would like to move OD from my current computer to the new one. The problem is that my new computer does not have internet on it, although my current machine does. My current machine has a CD burner, so if possible, I could burn OD on a CD. Does anyone have any suggestions for putting OD on my new computer? Thank You <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/ind

I am a windows 2000 user. I am interested in hacking/skinning my logon screen using ResHacker. Duz any1 know the name of the exe/dll, or registry key that controls the logon screen picture (the same pic that shows up when u hit Ctrl+Alt+Del). Even better, does anyone know a program that can skin the logon screen? Also, does anyone know how to set the wallpaper for the logon screen? (I know its some key in the registry) Thank you. <A HREF="https://www

I GOT IT. it is c:/program files/common files/sdmpc.exe!!! (you may have a different drive letter) Thank you so much everyone!!! When you open it with ResHacker, there is a PNG file labelled 109. you can replace with the png file of your choice and it will load. To replace the progress bar, simply replace the bmp. This is sooooooooooooooo cool! wow!!! If you ask me, Stardock should make their MPC core skinnable. Then I wouldnt have had to go through all this trouble. <img

Every time I start my machine, I see the MCP core picture: Stardock Object Desktop, and I watched all my programs load. I am really starting to get bored of this picture, so I thought of using ResHacker to change it. The only problem is that I do not know what the name of the exe/dll which has the MCP core on it is. Does anyone know what this exe/dll is? Thank You <A HREF="htt
