I am confused about exactly what you would like it to do. Do you want the seamless switching to be disabled and only use hotkeys to switch machines?

There is no need to press them all at once of course!
Please note that only the TRIAL version expired. Paid for versions have no timebombs. The current trial version should now be updated.
Multiplicity Pro has never been part of ThinkDesk. ThinkDesk has the standard Multiplicity since we launched the beta of ThinkDesk. (MP pro is $69.95 and so is ThinkDesk, so it would not make sense to include it) You can upgrade the MP in ThinkDesk to MP Pro using the following link : https://www.stardock.com/products/multiplicity/upgrade_td_discount.asp (<A href="https://www.st
Next time it happens, try pressing & releasing both shifts, controls, alt, the windows key & escape. Does this help?
Sorry, the MP trial has expired itself at the start of May. The instant you try to switch it will terminate itself. A new build has been made, but I am unsure if it has been put online or not. The current trial link may have this fixed. If not it should be resolved later today.
What kind of mouse do you have and does the problem go away if you unload Multiplicity without the reboot?
I would uninstall MP from both machines, delete any files left on disk and then reinstall it. It sounds like the secondary machine is still running parts of MP 1.0 which would result in the switching not working.
The menu skinning in WindowBlinds shareware is disabled after 30 days automatically. Support should have been aware of this.
We have been able to reproduce this and are looking into why this happens.
I am sorry to say support may have given you wrong information. Based on the description of this problem, it sounds like a video driver glitch but a screenshot would help. I would try upgrading your video drivers to the latest ones to see if that helps. If they are already the latest then try downgrading to a slightly older version of the drivers.
I believe there is an upgrade that can be purchased. [email protected] should be able to assist you with this.
Which version of MP are you using?
No skins need to be updated. If you are having problems then I would strongly suggest you try reinstalling WB. Also check you have not touched the colouring features by mistake.
This issue was resolved in the latest build of WB on OD
This looks like a video driver bug. I would upgrade your drivers if possible. If not, try dropping hardware acceleration (display properties->appearance->advanced) one notch and rebooting.
Does this still happen with the very latest WB (4.51 beta - updated wednesday) on OD?
Phoon, if it needs extra steps then it isn't the same!
phoon: Copy & paste of files in MP is identical in use to copying & pasting files on the local machine. I could right click neildoc.txt on my desktop, select copy, move my mouse right off the machine onto my 64 bit dev pc and right click on my desktop and select paste and the file will be copied.
I believe the license works as follows : MP standard allows you to have 1 primary (mouse & keyboard to use plugged into this) & 1 secondary machine. MP Pro allows you to have 1 primary and upto 6 secondary machines. MP Pro also adds in clipboard support for files / directories. As for supported OSes, we currently support Windows 2000/XP/2003 for primary & secondary as well as Windows XP 64 bit / 2003 64 bit for being a secondary only. Taki
This is totally different to Remote Desktop, PCAnywhere etc. This app allows you to have 2 or more computers (and screens) in your office, but only 1 keyboard & mouse. So you could have a work PC and a irc machine for example. Want to control the irc machine, just move the mouse off the side of the work machines screen & you are controlling it. Or you could use a hotkey to switch. Your desk becomes less cluttered and personally I have found it in
Support said WB wasn't compatible with VC6 and VS.net?
The .NET issue with buttons having wrapped text is a bug in the Microsoft code. It makes an assumption about the size of the font when calculating the rectangle to paint text in rather than using the correct api call to get a rectangle for the text. Any skin which sets a font on buttons will have this problem. This includes any modified msstyle files which set fonts on buttons.
Older versions of WB do not allow transparency in the statusbar which results in pink showing when a skin designed to use new features of WB is used on an older version.
Where did you get WB from? We believe there is an installer of 4.4 around which has 4.3 files in it rather than some of the updated 4.4 files, but we are not sure where it came from. Are you using 1) WB shareware 2) WB from ObjectDesktop (OD customer) 3) WB standalone registered enhanced (WB customer) or 4) Other... A couple of sites certainly 'released' a WB 4.4 shareware before we did (in fact before we had even compiled it!) so its p
