We will get that sorted. The new search bar on effects seems to have impacted the order of that particular messagebox and we seem to have missed that one.

300% scaling means your desktop is 1280x720 AKA very small. This is why you cannot see it as we designed for higher resolution than that. We will look to add a scrollbar to that one window.
This is because your real resolution is extremely low. 3840x2160 @ 300% is really only 1280x720 which is lower than the app would be expecting. I will see if we can add a scrollbar to that page in the event that it isn't fully visible.
Did you have v11 installed before? If so uninstall v11, REBOOT and then install 2026.
Also if you had DS 11 before, please uninstall, REBOOT and then install DS 2026 as it may be there are mismatched files installed.
What hardware do you have?

I get this Thank you, Basj, Stardock Community Assistant
And CPU and amount of memory on that PC? Also how long did it take before it failed?
I tried again with SDXL Lightning and it did render it, but when I tried saving the generated image I get this error. If you update to Start 11 v2.72 beta this is resolved. Sorry for the issue, it happens with a very specific setup involving secondary monitors on the left / above primary monitors and when you have a taskbar thats autohiding or is top, left, or right positioned.
Excellent! I'm using 11.02. What is the best way to upgrade Deskscapes? Will V26.0.0 just overwrite V11.02? Cheers.
Probably but you must reboot afterwards.
You need the 2.72 beta update. This addresses this particular issue with multiple monitor desktop icons.
It would be most useful to know what issues you have encountered as then we could investigate. With regards to the Windows start menu, if thats not showing then that may well be a Microsoft side issue. An easy test is if you press the windows key on the keyboard does it show?
I am sorry to hear you are having problems. If you ran the purge tool then Fences should not be installed as that deletes all the files. If you go to C:\program files (x86)\Stardock there should be no Fences subfolder left. Is this the case? It is not possible for an app to have a hold on the registry. It may be whats happening is the Windows update is failing for unrelated reasons and Windows is reverting to a saved restore point which existed when Fences
Which menu style are you using?
We believe this is due to a Nvidia driver quirk on some later models. The VMR-9 option is most likely to avoid this issue.
We have a beta update coming out next week for Start11 which should address this as it was reported late last week and we have a build in testing right now. It shows up if you have a secondary display to the left or above the primary and you have Start11 set to have autohide taskbar or a taskbar on the left/right/top. Disabling Start11 enhanced taskbar would fix this so if you uninstalled Start11 they should be visible again.
What issue are you having?
It's only the Start11 start button that exhibits this behaviour when the taskbar is positioned on top. No other items (not even the Taskbar Pin) has a cursor highlight misalignment. There's nothing conflicting with anything else on my system so I'm not going to mess with a system that isn't broken by volunteering as tester for Stardock software on my personal home computer. I'll see if I'm eligible for a full refund. Thanks f
I don't care that it works for you. I have been using this software for 12 years, so I know how to use it. Stop making it seem like it's on my end when it clearly is not. Other people have confirmed it in this thread. It is broken! plain and simple! Literally, 3 people just said they have this problem. learn how to read before you assume someone else is incompetent. Maybe you should
How many monitors do you have and what is the placement?
What build of Start11 do you have installed?
That would be unexpected. What build of Windows 11 are you using?
I guess it requires some sort of super special setting for the double right-click to work properly. On my machine A second right-click just shows the same menu as it does for the first right-click.
You have to right click on the menu itself where the icon and title is showing. Not on the taskbar twice as that will need do the same thing twice.
I have encountered a similar but new issue: Now the context menus are all scrambled. This is me right clicking on Nitor (5th icon), but seeing the context menu for Affinity Designer (9th icon). Firexfox and Chrome show their own menus, the rest is not just shifted, but scrambled. E
protected processes do not allow non MS signed dlls into them. This is probably why you get that error. It is not a problem, it is just logging that the OS blocked it. We cannot block the loading and exclusion would make no difference as in order to process the exclusion we would have to load the code which is being blocked. You can just ignore it. There was also a case of some dlls not being date countersigned which could also be the trigger of this.
