Cool, thanks that answers the first question. Apparently the "Web blinds" sputnik skin is fubr'd. I've set web blinds to "use windows blinds skin" works much better. I've also abandoned the sputnik skin anyway and just went back to Makinarama. For me the skins gotta have the thumb tack stay on top thing Minimizing window works fine w/ other skins. Damn the XP skin upgrades <img
Wierd, I actually just noticed that I don't even have web blinds enabled I guess sputnik just does that. I dunno thought you needed weblind to skin IE. I'm confused now as to the IE issues, and why I even need web blinds. Guess this skin is just funky. Maybe it's winstyles. I dunno this could all work more seemlessly I suppose.
OK, I'm not trying to change anything, just get it to work! 1) Web blinds wasn't skinning properly the right side was chopped off (I've restarted and this is working correctly now) 2) When you minimize a window (keep in mind i'm in Windows 2000) the button should look similar the the silvery style of the start button (in the sputnik skin). For me it's flat.
I checked and I don't have the 'flatten' buttons option selected, software upgrades always suck I guess
oh the link worked, and the skin installed, but the skin didn't minimize windows to the toolbar like it use to Those little silvery buttons only show up when someone AIM's me for some reason
I got version 4.10.010 I tried that link to and it's still not workin right...ARGH! wtf am I gonna have to uninstall wb and reinstall? I can't even find the web blinds skin anywhere else but that skin pack (from winstyles I think), but the fact that it's cut off on the right is annyoing.
Anyone know where I can get the old Sputnik Skin, This 8/1 version seems to be not minimizing like it use to in windows 2000, I don't get the silvery buttons anymore. Also, the sputnik Web blinds skin seems to be cut short on the right, anyone know what's up w/ that. Thx, Jon
