I like Chrome but the inability to lock or protect pinned tabs (gmail & voice esp) kills it for me. For me, memory usage is higher with Chrome. Firefox does a much better job with extensions & plugins and overall customization. ps. I use Tab Utilities extension to pin, lock & protect tabs as well as direct all links to open in a new tab. Lost without it.

NTFS errors and an image that won't restore sounds like you have some issues with your drive/cable/mb. You may be spinning your wheels if you don't ID the problem first.

Sorry to hear about your troubles Karen. You can always come back. Things are actually starting to improve around here now. The medical industry's always hiring (thanks to Ocare) and even construction is picking up a little.
I'm sure there are those here interested in reading it but it would definitely be something for your kids to show your grandkids and their kids, etc.
