I don't think so, if you look at joetheblows thread regarding time in NYC, you will see that the subsequent posts from different time zones show the time from the server that they were posted, not the time local to the time zone. /me shrugs, it was just an off the wall observation in an off the wall thread so i could reference an off the wall....ummmm...stageplay/film/cult <A HREF="http

It depends on what kind of skin you are trying to do. For WindowBlinds, SkinStudio or just plain old notepad or objectedit. ObjectBar has it's own built in "editor", as does DesktopX iirc. I don't know about the other skin formats, but for anything text driven, I would use a syntax highlighting editor like objectedit. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered b

Yes, Adni, the Greek islands are indeed quite beautiful. I took a tour of them almost 20 years ago on a family vacation to Europe. I have a picture that I took there that I had enlarged and framed. It is hanging on my living room wall. I hope I can go back someday and spend more time seeing the sights. <img src="http://images.s

hmmm...i haven't played with the ie toolbar transparency, but i would guess you would look at the toolbar section under the controls section in skinstudio. There are some transparency settings there for toolbar background. Look at XBox Xtreme theme and see what the settings are there and then try them on a different skin and see what happens <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full

I have similar problems in generally wanting a white background to work on. If I find a skin that I really like, I usually just change the background if it is not white. The easiest way to change the background color is with Skinstudio. Open up SkinStudio, select File/WindowBlinds/Open Current Skin. In the explorer section on the right side of skinstudio, click on Colours. On the left side, expand the Window tree. You should see an entry for Backgroud - Window. Click on it and you can the

The issue isn't as much bandwidth as server capacity. This site is very database intensive as the pages are all dynamically built from the database. When the site is being accessed by several hundreds of people, the database has to get a lot of the data from the db to build the pages. Bandwidth is still a major issue here, but not the only issue having to do with the "server busy" message. It is my understanding though, that both the server and bandwidth issues are being worked on. Hopef

Do you have webblinds installed? If so, you can change it to use the current windowblinds skin. In IE, select Tools/Webblinds Options iirc

Those on Stardock IRC know me as 'ed'. Though that is not how I started out on irc. Originally I used WizofOZ because I was currently developing ObjectZip (sorry Jafo, nothing to do with your esteemed country). At the time the Stardock channel was on Efnet and I started getting private messages from people I didn't know. Being the naive sort sometimes, I didn't realize the Wizard of OZ is highly prize

/me wonders how far off topic this thread is going to go Personally, I've been in my skin for 36 years . I've been using the wonderful windows skins the people here have been producing for about 2 years now. Yet another big thank you to all of the artists! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smil

The button changing is a Windows/WindowBlinds issue. For some reason changing the text of a button does not trigger a repaint of the button and use the new text . I see this happen in many programs, my own included <img src="http://images.stardo

Bugs and Elmer are the best. Foghorn Leghorn, Wile E Coyote and Roadrunner are a close second. hmmm...then there is the Schultz gang, and the crew over at Hundred acre wood. So many to choose from but the old classics are the best. Faramir aka Eyore
